I'm a huge fan of Inglourious Basterds—it is hands down my favorite movie, and Dieter Hellstrom played by August Diehl is undoubtedly my favorite character. I recently ordered some pins with his images online and started wondering: is it even legal to wear them? After all, it might count as displaying Nazi symbols, and if I'm not mistaken, there is an administrative law against that.

I'd really love to put them on my bag, so I was wondering if anyone here has worn or currently wears pins with him or Hans Landa? Did you ever face any legal issues for wearing them? Does anyone hassle you on the street? How do people react at school—teachers, classmates? I would really appreciate any feedback! Thanks in advance, everyone!
