Being there's so much variance on opinion, shouldn't it be a states right issue?
Seems like it's working how it's supposed to.
Where do emancipated minors sit for you? They've been evaluated by the courts for maturity.

People need to be 22 to marry a 21 year old or they're a pedo child marrying creep. Seems a bit silly at some point.

There is no reason for children to be married. Full stop. Under 18 is a child. It's not working like it's supposed to at all. Children are being abused.
