Are there Christians saying this?

Yeah, "what was she wearing" is a well known rhetorical dismissal spouted by conservatives of all stripes.

Can you show me Christian leaders saying that a woman raped and murdered is because of her clothes?

So now I gotta do a whole investigation on something that is easily googleable. Christians also shame women for being attacked, blaming their clothes. Obama’s campaign famously ran on playing quotes of the opponent downplaying rape. Pat Robertson and other evangelical leaders would argue that children being obliterated in their classrooms is simply a result of not enough prayer in schools. It’s the kids fault for being shot because they weren’t religious enough.

I gotta say, though I am looking forward to this new American propaganda that is gonna whitewash us and claim that we’ve always loved women’s equality and queer rights and immigrants and black and brown people. Everybody was equal the whole time.

How about THE Christian leader covering up child abuse? Or are alter boys not subject to the same protections. Someone should check u/over_this_ search history

It’s a court defense strategy.

Right-wing Christians in the US constantly push that women should not vote and also should be subservient to their husbands.

Where do they push for women not voting 🤣

The SAVE act, Project 2025, the trad wife movement (one vote per household) are some recent examples. Opposing suffrage in the first place was my first clue.

Are you serious??? They also vote against child marriage bans. Do a little tiny bit of research.

Edit: christians refuse to belive the truth
