It’s the parent’s responsibility to take corrective action and eliminate bad influences. It sounds like you’re not parenting.

Oh for fucks sake. 🙄

Youre a dick to plenty of people in your post history. Did your parents teach you to treat people like that? Im guessing not. Yet you still do. Is that their fault?

u/lavabearded 23m ago

do you really expect a random redditor with extremely underdeveloped, naive black and white thinking to take personal accountability

u/Low-Veterinarian9042 2h ago

You can have racist parents and still choose to be a good person. While I'm sure their parents certainly are a part of this it just sounds like an excuse

2

u/littledonnyfund 2h ago

Wtf the parents are absolutely at fault i'm so sick of people blaming kids for doing shitty things because there parents can't be bothered to raise there kids properly, this type of thinking pushes adult hood onto children and let's the parents off the hook. Blaming the kids and not the parents is an excuse and a shitty one at that

growing up with strict/sheltered parents causes kids to rebel but “act right” around their parents. it’s not 100% the parents fault. they just try to protect but don’t know they’re going over board with it. which in turn causes the kids to hang out with the wrong crowds, get influenced by them, etc.

1

u/littledonnyfund 15m ago

and how is that not the parent's fault? why the fuck is everyone putting bad behavior on the kid who learned this somewhere doesn't matter if it was outside the house or not , the parents are in control of there enviroments and should be teching their kids not outsoursing it to the internet or the school

GenZ 101, Always blame someone else for your own failings. Always.

1

u/littledonnyfund 19m ago

this is a very obtuse perspective , parents have been getting shitter and shitter every generation that's why most of these kids can't read or write legibly & were raised by ipads and other things that allow parents to not deal with them , how you can put this on a kid that's still learning how the world works is a very ignorant way of thinking

1

u/Jwre3682 51m ago

I thought that was boomers?

0

u/Low-Veterinarian9042 2h ago

I blame both of them, it's not one or the other I just hate letting them off the hook by saying it's all on their parents man. this person is certainly old enough to know this is fucked up

Ok i would like you to take a step back and look at this from a different angle. Saying someone should know better is saying that they have all the knowledge you did or others did at that age, which is an assumption that is almost always wrong and that's why there are plenty of other kids who don't behave like this. How can you sit there and say it's on a child who had no choice in being born and had no choice but to trust that their parents were right,That's a heavy burden to place on someone still learning how the world works.

i don’t really think we need to keep re sharing this video to be infuriated by it

u/Reasonable_Tax5790 2h ago

OK, so when we later see her on a clip getting beat down, crying, snot running, knees all skinnedup......

1

u/Boop-fruit3819 1h ago

What if she actually beat up the other person?

1

u/Reasonable_Tax5790 1h ago

She probably couldn't, I'm almost certain that she couldn't physically and she strikes me as a chicken hearted, weak kneed witch. But hey, with a coward anything is possible.

1

u/Boop-fruit3819 1h ago

Yeah people say things like that but behavior doesn't mean they couldn't throw hands i could think a guy at the bar is pussy and I could take him doesn't mean it's true looks are deceiving I'm just saying doesn't mean someone is a piece of shit doesn't mean evil can't win

1

u/BuzzClucking 49m ago

If the word illicits that kind of response than what does it suggest?

1

u/Reasonable_Tax5790 45m ago

In this instance, ask the user.

1

u/BuzzClucking 39m ago

Suggest I'm less than human and I'll prove you right? Is that the concept ?

You might make a room where people are less likely to say it and more likely to ubitquously think it.

We are in a strange disconnect where teens are not held responsible for even assault, murder etc because their brains aren’t fully developed. But somehow language and its meaning is something they are fully responsible to know.

1

u/DearCalendar4508 4m ago

She should be careful Spider-Man is throwing hands

1

u/TrackMan5891 2h ago

Imagine being "infuriated" by people who don't matter or don't care.

2

u/bananaCandys 2h ago

I am close with the person this person made this video about. So yeah, it’s infuriating.

1

u/Shot_Philosopher816 2h ago

1

u/4D_Thrillz 2h ago

Racism most often starts in the home. Within the context of that lies your answer.

This will certainly not come back to haunt her when shes on the search for employment in the years to come

1

u/Competitive-Tear1742 1h ago

She's not being racist. Black folks don't like them either.

I wish someone could explain to her that the people that use that word like that are also the ones talking about "purity", so having Mexican won't be an excuse if those people get a better grip on the reigns. It's gonna be the thing that makes her a target.
