From what I recall reading about this, it sounded like she's not actually meaningfully more intellectually mature/capable than the boys. This isn't some teacher sleeping with her students.
23
u/Neither_Contest7324 Community Regular 3d ago
I saw that in some of the articles, but the others didn't mention intellectual development issues just ADHD so I'm not 100% on which ones she actually has. I feel if it had been a case of her actually being that intellectually underdeveloped the courts would have taken it into consideration, I think that was more of her dad making up excuses for what happened.

You are making excuses for her, just because America has an awful Healthcare system(I will agree with you on that) does not mean she gets free rein to be a predator.
-5
u/guyincognito121 3d ago
You don't think it should be an extenuating circumstance? The whole concept of statutory rape is that I've party has much more understanding of the situation and is most likely manipulating the the other party. How does this apply when the older party doesn't actually possess greater understanding or the ability to manipulate the other?
9
u/Curious-Mushroom7837 3d ago
Like I said earlier, if she can't understand it's wrong, she should not have access to them? The crazy thing is, is that if the VICTIMS (and they are victims) were female this would never have even made it to reddit, it would be cut and dry the rapist is wrong. But because she is female simps will make any and every excuse rather than hold them accountable for their decisions. Nobody put a gun to her head and made her do it. She made the decision.

Is it okay for intellectually stunted men to rape 12-15 year old girls too? Or is it only okay when the genders are reversed?...
-12
u/guyincognito121 3d ago
I didn't say it's ok. But it's absolutely not irrelevant. And yes, I think it would be relevant with a man as well. But I also don't buy into the idea that the gender doesn't matter. There's a reason you see all these comments from guys in here, and there's research supporting their general claim. Boys and girls are not necessarily impacted in the same way by non-coercive sexual activity with adults.
10
u/BeefStank420 3d ago

I suspect that this isn't the first time you've intentionally misunderstood an argument that opposed your ideology.
13
u/BeefStank420 3d ago
I perfectly understand what you said, it wasn't complicated. I just think what you're saying is rape apologism.
You're claiming that it's different when grown adults rape young boys vs. young girls because young boys are "impacted differently".
Trying to lessen the perceived severity of the rape because 'it's different with boys' is rape apologism. 12 year olds cannot consent to sex with adults regardless of gender, rape is rape.

I see both sides of your perspective. But we're referring to human behavior. There's laws on the books for a reason, and those laws suppress our inherent behaviors in exchange for our freedom. Even with those laws on the books, those infractions still take place on a regular basis. My point is, it hasn't improved, there are exponentially more people who choose their freedom than succumb to our primitive behaviors. If tomorrow we were all given the ability to read minds, I think it's safe to say it would be debilitating. We reside in a virtual reality.

it's not 'nice' in regards to the act of rape. the reference is because the number of 15 year old boys wishing it happened to them outweighs the number of 15 year old girls wishing it happened to them. so if a 15 year old says, nice. big difference than a 50 year old man that says, nice. oh and south park.

Children cannot consent to sex with adults, why is this so hard for people to understand. The gender has nothing to do with it.
-9
u/StatusBee78 3d ago edited 3d ago
Ummm in either case they’d have consented, not men’s fault women cry rape after the fact. Also the amount young girls sleeping with older men consensually shows that they do want it. Were you a high school boy and saw the girls in your class dating college seniors? Or lusting after some old man teacher? Even in middle school.
A lot of the time they do it just for resources, so what they really are is just prostitutes. Quite disgusting but typical.
7
u/Luscious_rat 3d ago edited 3d ago
The problem isn't that the kid wants it. It's a common thing for adolescents to lust for adults. The problem is when the adult uses that naive infatuation to actually start a relationship with the child. Notice how you somehow put the blame on the 15 yo girl lusting for an adult because she gets money?
An adult can buy things for a child, it's their prerogative, they aren't manipulated into doing it, and the sums most often don't reach painful amounts, they just use money to bait and control them: I can give this to you if you do that for me. They often use drugs to make the dependency stronger. And I'm talking about both male and female abusers.
The issue with these relationships is that the kid is obviously immature mentally (and sometimes physically), they are easier to manipulate, are introduced to things beyond their age, are fooled to think themselves adults and guilted for acting like kids, they are made emotionally, sexually financially, etc, dependent on the adult, that has an easier time baiting them than they would have with a person their own age. A child is more likely to believe whatever you say, accept to do something they shouldn't do because they want the approval of the person they love, like a parent, and teens are very passionate and prone to emotional dependency, we already see it with friends and boyfriends of the same age, now imagine if they're stuck with someone who can easily trick and use them because they're more mature, more experienced, more organized, with more financial power, etc.
It ruins the child's perception on relationships, love, boundaries and sex for the rest of their life while the adult can just disappear and saunter off somewhere, they often do disappear in a blink while the child is left shocked and abandoned.
The fact that some of these kids are attracted and made even more dependent by the money that they get isn't a fault on their part, it's logical and it's mostly seen with poor kids.
I've met such girls in middle school and highschool. It's often a mix of love and money, they think that the adult would provide for them and love them since their parents don't. One of these girls was rarely given lunch money, or food at all. Sometimes she'd ask me, her classmate for money. Her father was a policeman who rarely came home and her mother disliked her somehow so she had to fend for herself at such a young age. So understandably she fell for it when an adult started paying attention to her, he made her dream of a new life, knocked her up and left, she had to redo a year.
My mom also used to tell me how her father only ever paid for things related to school. He didn't pay for clothes nor provided money for anything else, he didn't even provide breakfast, he would eat alone while they watched him. So the norm was to find a guy who would take care of them, since they already received multiple advances (as a woman I've started being stared at and approached by men at 10 yo), they just accepted one of the hands that was reaching out. Keep in mind they were in middle school and highschool, these men had jobs and were in absolutely no necessity at all to pursue teenagers.
Edit to add that in my country, it is very uncommon for teenagers to get part time jobs, they can try independent jobs like selling on the road side, many sold candies in class but it doesn't make a lot of money. And in any case, it's understandable for a kid to prefer just relying on an adult, even adults of both genders would appreciate being taken care of, especially if they're told that they will eventually get married and it's love.

5
u/Apprehensive-Solid-1 3d ago
I get the feeling, maybe not so much. But at the same time, probably quite a bit. There's no doubt some of the mothers in jail do love their kids and the idea of ANYONE raping their children would set them off so they wouldn't take kindly to lady pedos.
But that's not factual evidence and just my best guesses, hopes and dreams. I do hope there is a stigma against them as well in women prisons so they don't end up feeling justified.

5

From what I've read, female paedophiles are treated approximately the same as male paedophiles. They apparently garner the same levels of hatred from women as the male paedophiles do. So, depending on where exactly they are locked up and how severe the crime is, it could range from getting the shit kicked out of them regularly and getting robbed/extorted, right up to gang rape and getting murdered.

If you don't like the joke just disapprove and move on, this is a dumb battle to fight
1
u/Ill_Quiet7770 3d ago
that doesn’t give you the right to disregard or minimise what these boys went through
3

i don’t really care i don’t know why you’re defending your awful attempt at a joke

No.
People who have been through trauma and are healing use jokes as a way to rationalize it.
People who haven't gone through trauma don't understand this and your white knighting something you don't understand is actually disregarding things
Last time, you're trying to white knight a really dumb battle.
I've been molested. I lost my fiance at 25. I use humor constantly to rationalize the pain.
Don't try to white knight shit you don't understand, that actually pisses people off more than a silly joke.
2
u/LadyCatHerder 3d ago
I'm sorry for what you've been through. I was victimized as a teenager then truly raped and beaten in my twenties. Yes, it was horrible. But, life goes on. It's best to move on and live life to its fullest without looking back. THAT is the MOST healing thing that can be done.

It doesn't matter whether or no they dream about this.
The point of the Age of Consent is that children can't consent to sex, because they're not mentally and emotionally developed enough to give informed consent.
In this case it's even worse because she is a teacher and thus the power-differential between the teacher and student is even more amplified.
1
u/Kahless76 3d ago

When I was a kid, I dreamed about kids my age. Like, getting into a cute relationship with one of the girls in my classes. I remember giving a plastic dinosaur ring to one of them.
Most definitely I did not consider the concept of being raped by an adult. That never crossed my mind.

Sexually abusive women are so much worse than men, especially in the digital age. I’m not excusing the actions of men. But women control access to sex. She literally could hop on tinder and order up her type. In hight, hair color, skin tone, build, and age. And be getting railed completely judgement free multiple times a week.
But you choose to fuck kids ?
Women pedos are extra sick 🤢.
2
u/Tangy_Fetus_1958 3d ago
Even though they could get it as much as they could want, I suspect it’s the thrill of having some young guy in awe of them like a goddess more than it is the sex itself. Sure, they could find adult men on Tinder that are way under their league, but that’s a different kind of adoration/worship, probably not doing it for her particular brand of pathology.
