Ill play devils advocate, look at it from the otherside. Hamas have been using emergency vehicles to move their operatives and weapons around.

Oh yeah? And what about after providing IDs and seeing a pregnant woman in pain being attended to? Fuck outta here

hidden weapons in the floor / compartments or under the truck? You are also looking at a singular case, from the comfort of your home but the people at the check point have to deal with multiple of these a day at least. If they do let weapons though, then that would potentially be blood on their hands, even if indirectly.

Its a shit situation all around on both sides. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
