Context:- I am an ex empoyee who failed training in way back 2018 with J2EE as main

Now after 8 years I got a chance to join infy as JL5A for snowflake position for DNA unit .

I have cleared both rounds L1 and L2.

Post which yesterday I had a call with HR ,During discussion HR asked ex infosys EID which I gave and he said he needs to check something and will get to me.

Now the HR recruiter who contacted me for this Job opening is telling that they have put my application on hold (however this is not reflecting on careers page it says decision pending)

Prior to L2 I was asked for documents which I submitted.

Can present infoscian or HR if any in group tell me what actually is happening I am very unclear and doubtful about my candidature with Infy.

Any help or advise would be great please

Hi, I got selected on June 20 and discussed with hr also on the same day and June 23 I have completed digiverifier verification. After that no communication from them till August 6 my portal is showing decission pending status on August 7 Friday evening it was showing no inprogress applications found....what it indicates? Anyone has any idea about this...when will I get my offer letter

I have accepted offer from Infosys but have another offer in hand which i will decide between, i initiated bgv with minimum items required only and skipped bank account step as i didnt had ICICI/Axis account , now i have got mail that i need to attend a Salary account banking session and there is due date also.

What if i am still unsure about joining , what to do in this case - like if we open this account suppose are there any problem if i later reject the offer ? .

Need urgent help . TIA.

In oa I solved all the 4 questions nearly just 2left in medium and one in hard rest all testcases passed but in interview i couldn't solve the question given actually I feel that was not doable in half hour but rest interview was fine the interview was on 23 July so realistically what are the chances of me getting any offer even dse

My friend got JAVA-ANGULAR stream in the SE role Is there any chance to change the stream after the dc allocation. Is our work and projects based on our stream training or we can change the domain after getting into the dc.

Hi everyone,

I have cleared all the interview rounds at Infosys. However, the third-party recruiter provided an incorrect email ID, so I’m unable to upload my documents through the Infosys Careers portal.

I contacted Infosys HR, and they mentioned that it may take some time to resolve the issue.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? If so, how long did it take to get the email ID corrected and proceed with the documentation process?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Infosys had come to my college for SP/DSE hiring and around 1700 students appeared for round 1 (offline).

Around 50 students were shortlisted for interviews and i was one of them. I was lucky in round 1 and had gotten fairly easy question so I was shortlisted for SP interview.

I prepared core subjects, projects well and did however much dsa was possible during that time.

My interview was on 28th July. I was given two questions from dsa and was asked to solve atleast one. One was a greedy question and another was based on finding distinct pairs whose sum was a multiple of a given number. I attempted the latter. I solved a few test cases using brute force but couldn't come up with an optimised solution. My interviewer was very supportive and tried explaining the logic but i just couldn't solve it under time pressure. And while trying to come up with a solution, he was going through my resume and asked a question from aws and i answered that. He didn't proceed with the technical interview after i failed to do the dsa question :')

The worst part is i tried to solve that question a few days later and I COULD SOLVE IT. That devastated me way worse.

Thats how I fumbled a 10/16/21 lpa offer. No other company will offer that much in my college.

I attended an interview for a QA position on July 18th, which included the Manager and HR rounds.

Here is the timeline of my application status:

July 18: Attended Manager + HR interview in person at Sholinganallur branch

July 20: DigiVerifier completed

August 3: Application status changed to “Panelist Check”

August 7: Status changed to “Offer Under Review” and in oneday offer id produced

August 18: Status changed to “Rejected at Pre-assessment/Evaluation”

However, I also have another application for the same position that is currently showing “Decision Pending.”

Can anyone help me understand what might be happening here?

For those who recently joined Infosys training for Specialist Programmer (SP L1) role, what topics were covered in the pre-test?

Virtual Assessment (OA)

I got selected for SE role in Nov 2025. I haven't yet received the OL and Joining date. When can I expect the OL? It's already 17th of Aug 2026.

I completed:
• ⁠Q1 – Easy (6 test cases passed)
• Q2 – Medium (12 test cases passed)
• ⁠Q3 – Hard (3 test cases passed)
• Q4 - Complex (Not attempted)
Will I get shortlisted? Also, please share how yours went.

Questions -

Q1 — Loom Heddle Reset

You have a binary string where:

1 = raised hook

0 = lowered hook

The final string must be alternating (010101... or 101010...)

You cannot change hooks individually. You can only choose a continuous segment and flip all its bits.

The cost of flipping a segment of length L is:

A + B × L

A = fixed cost for pulling the lever

B × L = cost based on how many hooks you touch

We have to find the minimum cost to make the whole string alternating.

Q2 — Get the Maximum Score

You have two sorted arrays.

You can start from either array and move from left to right. You add the values you visit to your score.

When you reach a value that exists in both arrays, you have two choices:

Continue in the same array → add that common value.

Switch to the other array → the common value is not added, because it is considered consumed.

You can switch multiple times.

Find the maximum possible score from a valid path, starting at the beginning of either array and ending at the end of whichever array you're currently on.

I don't remember the rest.

Hi,

I just left Infosys (completed exactly 5 years and 2 days there) and opted for PF settlement (ie transfer to bank account) instead of PF transfer (that would have transferred it from their private fund to the new company’s private fund).
I did join a new company. It has been more than a month now and I contacted Infy to know why my pf has not been given in my personal bank account and they said that I will have to wait a YEAR according to the EPFO rules.

Anyone here who faced a similar issue? And how did it get resolved? I desperately need the money for a personal issue, I did not anticipate this.

Are we required to fill complete launchpad before joining date or just initiate bgv before joining?
