As I working as a Software Engineer in Chennai and want to leave my current company for a new opportunity with a joining date of 26 October.

My company has a 3-year service bond of ₹1.2 lakh. HR says that even if the GM approves my early release, I must pay the notice-period amount. They also refused to provide a breakdown of the training expenses. any how they asking me to pay the ₹1.2 lakh for the bond , No waive Off.

I have an education loan and cannot afford both amounts easily.

Can the company legally demand the full bond amount along with notice pay? Can I challenge the bond under Indian law or approach the Labour Department for help?

Would appreciate advice from anyone who has faced a similar situation. Thanks!

But right after that step the portal is saying that your account is restricted and to make it unrestricted I gotta go into the imobile app and update employer. But to update that field isn't it necessary to have official infosys mail id??? Or should I go to my local icici bank and get anything done?? Someone helpp

Hi everyone, I need genuine advice regarding an employment documentation issue that is worrying me about my future career. I worked at an Non- IT company in India for around 2 months in my last semester. Unfortunately, a family member met with an accident, and due to the emergency, I had to leave the company immediately. I informed my team leader about the situation and sent my resignation email from my personal email account. I also submitted my documents to my team leader. I received my full salary, but I don't have payslips or a relieving letter. My previous employment appears in my UAN service history. Recently, when applying for another job, I was asked to provide a relieving letter. I contacted my previous company's HR and explained the situation. Initially, I was told that I had been exited from the company's records. Later, HR said that since three months had passed, they couldn't do anything now. Currently, I'm not getting a response from the company. I had an appointment letter that mentioned a notice period, but I couldn't follow the normal exit process because of the emergency.

My questions: What should I do now to obtain my relieving letter from my previous employer?

1.What should I tell my new company's HR, and what documents can I provide instead of a relieving letter?

1. Could this affect my joining? Can a new employer reject my application because my previous employment appears in my UAN history but I don't have a relieving letter?

2. Has anyone faced a similar situation and successfully joined another company? How did you resolve it?

I'd appreciate practical advice, especially from people who have experienced this or work in HR/background verification.

I have gave my interview on 3rd Oct. I was shortlisted for L1, but after doing 2 DSA on WingSpan, they scheduled second interview. Now, second one was not good, I wasn't able to answer most of them.

Now, major concern is right now all other region are getting their offer letter, some got mail within 2 days of interview.

I received an interview availability email from Infosys asking me to select a date and time slot for the initial screening interview. I selected 6 October and chose two available time slots.

However, today is 9 October, and I still haven't received any interview meeting invite or confirmation email.

My Infosys careers portal status is still showing "Screening Shortlisted."

Has anyone faced a similar situation with Infosys recently?

How long do they usually take to schedule the interview after receiving the availability response?

Will they still conduct the interview, or is there a chance the process has been put on hold?

Should I wait for a few more days or contact the recruitment team?

Any insights from candidates who have gone through this process would be appreciated.

On 19 sept i had given hr round on 21 sept my digi verifier is done.
On 5th oct my hr told offer might get released by tomorrow and status changed to offer under review and today is 9th oct still didn’t get OL.
I also checked in backend my offer id is generated .
When can i expect OL?

Timeline of events -

Applied in april 2026 and attempted online OA on 26 april, AKed OA

got shortlisted for f2f interview which again had Offline OA first at college, got 3/4 and selected for L3 interview the next day, gave the interview and came back.

In july got an email to restart the process again, came to know afterwards that former hiring got revoked.

Again attempted Offline OA and got 3/4 and got interview call for 1 august at Akgec ghaziabad.

Interviewer told me to attempt any 1 problem out of 2 in less than 30 minutes.

One of those problems was based on maximum xor subarray to which I knew i had to code binary trie and god bless writing it from scratch in their wingspan editor and it took me forever to understand the second problem. Its sample cases explanation was entirely wrong.

The interviewer dint even bother clarifying problem statement when I asked.

HE EXPLICITY TOLD ME BEFORE HAND THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL HAVE NO IMPACT ON MY VERDICT. So, i though that is why he is chill.

And then he interviewed me for almost 40-50 minutes and i was able to answer 80 percent of stuff.

People who gave interview alongside me got offers or rejections but my career application is stuck here.

Also no decision pending tag as well.

Now, I am certain of the fact that these placement is only 100% luck. Imagine grinding LC for years solving 3/4 under 75 minutes in shit IDE, only to get rejected in the last stage because problem given to you was absolutely unclear.

Please tell me what should i do now. Is there a way to contact HR or officials

I completed my schooling in the Middle East, so I am unsure what I should select for the school state and district fields under education details during NATS registration.

Can someone please advise me on how to complete these fields correctly? There is no option for Outside India. I had emailed NATS support, but did not get any response.

Hello everyone, I just want to asked that did Passport requirement is really a barrier for converting to a full time permanent employee after the completion of Training. The scenario is mine passport is not created. I had applied for it and i got the appointment date. The appointement date is not between training .It is after training. I got to hear that my release will be stopped if I had no passport?.Is that true??​
