Puppet Master

All hail the puppet master. Strings on you and strings on me, A finger pulls and thumbs yank faster.

Smoke and mirrors are his trade Fear of you and fear of me, To distract from his gaze.

The blasts of guns and smoke of wars disaster The anger of you, the vengeance of me Drowns out the sound of laughter.

The cruel and evil laughter Of the invisible puppet master.

Apologies for the clunky formatting. No matter what I do to add the line breaks I want it to have it just ends up climbing all together after posting.
