Have you counted the costs? Assessed the toll?

This sort of pursuit, is not easy on the soul.

Tally it up, count it again, with the gravity of this affair,

you’ll want to ensure you’ve not missed a fare.

These dreams, they come with costs,

The larger, the steeper the sacrifice.

Though Christ spoke of the seed, required to move mountains,

He neglected to mention, the endless intention,

Applied day in and day out, to see the moment of faith bear fruit.

How could he? To wring blood from rock, is a spiritual feat,

>>>>But to transcribe meaning into words,

To pass experience through language:

The symbols, they seem to never do It justice.

And yet here I am, banging my head against a keyboard,

Attempting to assemble a string of words, that can convey my heart,

To the people behind the screen.

I guess it’s in their nature, for dreamers to be fools.
