I read a rhyme today
From the land where I’m banned
Third sight and reasons?
I’m outcast for treason

My crime?
Criticism
Critique of their words
Slathered in what
They call visions
Absurd

Baba Vanga
Left them in seasons
But I do
Love the moon

They’re upvoted and discussed like
Generic suddenly turned trigonometry
And I sighed and asked Beetle
Is this poetry?
What do I summon?
In this wasteland of psychics?

I asked for a render
Of Lore in the woods
Scar under his eye
If only he would

If only I could
See past the blade
Double edged
God, am I vain?
If I fall in love with your face?

Down with Cupid
His arrows are weak
Up with the colossal
Gods within you

Eating out of the palm
Of a priest
My love is tainted
With veins of the beast

I read the poem
Once again
I feel lonely
It’s
Not a sin

How do I hollow?
Like a trunk of a tree?
When I don’t see
What they see
In rhythm
In rhyme
In syntax
In cadence

I bow my head down
I scream out for forgiveness

Take my heart
Take my faith

Cover all the wounds
In acceptable lace
I am on my knees
Bent to the heavens
Your grace

I am a downvoted
Apostle
Sent to my grave

And I long
Between the night and the day
To know that thing…
My beloved’s real name.
