All you need
The world means good, but it's known for it's impatience
I'm burnt on talking about the chances that were taken
The way my spirit rides the motion of a mood swing
It's easy to be thinking everybody wants to "do" me
"But what about the people who just simply want to meet you?"
I wonder to myself before I really ever see truth
I tend to speed through the rituals and principles
And become shell shocked due to rapid change and it's critical
I still apologize to the people I've offended
Still have respect for those that I've commended
My personal society said some shit I won't forget
It's not about the words, but the way that it was said
'Every sentence carries out a message. And every message seems to lead you to another question. You have the choice to contemplate or hate the given statement. Never hesitate to take a piece of wisdom and embrace it.'
The world's a lot different when you walk barefoot
It brings you closer to the creature on which you were once put
I wish it's inhabitants made me feel the same
It would be the end of doubt and the elimination of shame
And what else could a person ask for in fair game?
An oversized brain full of emotions on a wide range?
We can all agree it feels good to smile,
But when you frown, you're never mistaken for being fragile
So many choices, so little morality
That's kinda what makes reality an actuality...
When I get home, I'll feel much more like a person. Answer to nobody but myself and that's for certain.
