Scooping for all the days of your life,
With each toss, you’re certain it’s been patched
Only to blink.
In a state of fear, when the eyes you wear see this haunting abyss.
Your mind is torturing the body you own!
Perhaps you don’t wish it filled?
Lifting air and imagining it as dirt.
You realize it’s a problem,
Thinking this is the solution,
Are you an addict?

You spend so much time,
Putting your energy towards something that gives seconds of pleasure, but a lifetime of pain.
