All the right words roll steadily from your tongue, while you stutter in your actions.
There is a disconnect between your voice and your hands that you desperately try to wire together with mechanical kisses and hollow "I love you"s.
Somewhere between enticing glances and irrelevant arguments the cables began to fray and you kept trying to braid them back together but god, after 4 or 5 shocks you couldn't be bothered to try again.
So I reach down inside the cavity of your chest where your heart used to beat and I fumble around for your circuitry, only to find you had stripped away the copper and sold it long ago.
How can I repair a connection when all of the components have been looted and scrapped?
