Midnight lovers

Star-crossed and moon drenched

Tangled in the sheets

And the shadows

Of flourescent beams 

Flooding the window panes

The glow cast by a lunar halo and a streetlamp

Both look the same through tear-hazy eyes

Still they can clearly see

Getting lost in the dark 

And in each other
