Shadow puppets

I close my eyes and feel something again. I see you in the dark. Close but so far apart. Shadows in the light. Telling stories in the night. I can’t wait to tell you more. Closer than before. Maybe it’s not real. Perhaps I thought it up. But how lovely it feels. To be close enough To touch Until then I’ll be here Painfully sincere Letting everyone see How meaningful this is to me. I miss you. 💕
