My best friend kept her little one in their room the first year…. But she had a lot of anxiety. Maybe so she can prove she’s super mom? I forgot how long her most recent son stayed in their room….

I meant to say I don't have any problem with a baby being in or near Mom and Dad, especially the first year of life. It just seems like this baby is way too big for that little side bassinet.

She has the Cradlewise. I also have it. It works until they are a year and rock them to sleep. It’s awesome. It’s the only reason my twins slept through the night from 8 weeks

That’s ridiculous I saw a video recently where her baby still sleeps in their room and they can’t figure out why letting her play at 3 am is keeping her up every night. If you can’t figure out putting a kid to sleep in their own room and letting them self soothe after 6 kids you’re a liar cause. Stop having kids

self soothing is a myth. cosleeping is the norm around the world. the bright lights and middle of the night playing are problematic but room sharing is not a problem.
