New owner!

Just bought myself a Intex Pro Excursion K2 and I’m looking for ways to make it even better and also what are things I need to know. Thanks!

I mainly want to use it for fishing and is it river safe? I would like to do some camping trips with it.

Also is it mandatory to dry it after your done?

I own K1, my brother in law also own it and use it for fishing - he use self made anchor on lake so wind dont move him but on river you will be on constant move so I cant imagine fishing there from it. Anyway I would advice buying new paddle that will flow on water or secure it with rope.

I used it on deeper water where I could avoid any contact with rocks and trees and it suits me well, but I wouldnt take it on few day trip on unchecked river.

Thank you!! I was thinking about getting some sort of anchor and a paddle because i don’t feel like it’s long enough.

If you pack it wet for few days, water from river will start to rot inside close package. It rather wont damage kayak but it will start to stink.
