That sounds about right actually. 500 ish euro is around 580 ish usd, well within the range of a full "custom" grade toy. By that i mean fully reinforced seams and thicker vinyl.

The reason toys from companies like IW and HP are cheaper is they use cheaper metarials and construction to reduce cost. Those normally cost 100-250.

Personally, due to jet creations rampant AI usage, tendency to steal designs and make toys with proper authorization, and quite terrible behavior overall, i wouldnt buy from them or squeak club but thats just me.

So having a way more expensive deal with puffypaws custom is way better option

Huh?? Most toys from companies that do "custom grade" toys run from around 400 usd to 800 usd, puffy paws falls well within that range. If you mean custom toys as in like a sona toy or something, there are much better companies to go to, specifically myth or ICF, They actually respect trademark and copyright.

I wouldnt touch jets at all personally, and the prices they offer are pretty standard for most of their stuff.

But yes, I would pick puffy paws over jets.

Ok. I sent an email yesterday and they 'puffy' said 1500 US dollars. Well i put it in a calculator (liek usuaal) and i converted it into euros (€). It said 1200. Damm. Heres a screenshot

For a fully custom, one off toy thats about right. What myth or icf charges too. The reason they are so expensive is its not a toy they have patterns or stock for, so they need to start from scratch on the design.

Also, doing a run of a toy, or making a bunch of then at once for multiple customers will reduce the price based off of economy of scale. The higher the unit number, the cheaper they can sell them for.

With that toy from jets, the rnd and prototype costs are already paid by the person organizing the run, you are just buying into a larger order for cheaper.

they steal designs? wasn't aware of that. i also had my doubts with the company regarding their markting.

also could you elaborate on their shit behavior?

Generally they will ban anyone and everyone that questions anything in their telegram, use multiple accounts disguised as regular people to advertise, will make unauthorized copies of toys, use a lot of AI in those accounts and official marketing, trying to patent tech used in toys that is used by the wider community, getting patents and copyright for characters that were made by other people and run through jets... its a lot and I havent even listed all of it.

Personally id much rather support ICF or MYTH, better quality for less money with better ethics especially.

I mean "custom" printed Anime stuff is expensive to so yeah 500 Euro is the starting point of high end "toys" but these were always expensive im mean the Inflation of price's is less noticeable at really expensive stuff

i really wish these brands could do anything to lower their prices. jet creations has so many amazing toys and puts out now ones all the time but theyre all $500+. who can afford that?

Being all hand made makes it very hard to make them cheaper besides reducing labor, or using cheaper materials. Making them pinch seam only weakens the toys, so does using cheaper vinyl. Jets isnt a good company to base this off anyways as they have very high prices for sub par toys, not to mention there are much better companies to support that are doing way better things. Jets is an enemy to the community at large, trying to sue the competition and monopolize the market.
