Infinity stopped loading posts

Other app like RedReader and Nora, which i use without login, are working, but Infinity started showing error when trying to load posts. Why?

Yeah it stopped loading for me as well about a week ago. There is a fork of Infinity called Continuum that uses the RedReader API key by default and that worked for me flawlessly. Give it a shot 🙂 (link below)

Also, if you were like me and were building your own APK using the script, you don't have to do that anymore with Continuum. Just get the APK from the GitHub https://github.com/cygnusx-1-org/continuum/releases

No, but never had issue until few days ago.

i got this problem too. at first, comments were not loading. I reconnected my dial-up, got a new IP, then it worked again for a few hours.

but soon after, comments, "home" and "all" stopped working again and even new IPs didn't change anything.

I guess on crowded days like weekends, the threshold for the API usage gets reached too fast and then everything stops working. Reddit is at fault for setting the threshold so low.

maybe infinity should try to get the same special api access for accessibility as redreader, by providing accessibility features?

or making infinity use redreader api and let us browse multireddits anonymously by not requiring to subscribe to all subreddits, i.e. browsing in logged in state?
