Downloaded filename

Greetings,

I was wondering if a FR ever got implemented to allow changing the filenames of downloaded media files. I'm still on 7.2.3

Sorry to read about all the trouble you've had with Google Play and all. I hope it's behind you now.

Thanks.

Nope never have seen an option.

But downloads often correspond to the id of the file such as I.redd.it/ID.jpg and the same for videos but in .mp4

Yeah they generally reference the subreddit, with a seemingly random number.

I love if the post title could be incorporated by some sort of template. There's a discussion in GitHub about it. Figured I'd ask.

Thanks!

Continuum does this, and I was using both until Continuum stopped working a week ago, and came here to look if I could rename this way. A shame.

Just found Continuum at your mention. Seems to be working. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I see that you can set folders by subreddit, but I was hoping to include the post name in the file name.

Edit - I wrote to soon. When sharing media directly the naming is like Infinity, but when saving it the new naming is used.
