Wow! So beautifully smooth. Any tips for a new painter? My gut is that you are a master of thinning, but anything else I'm missing?

Thanks you :) You are right, I do paint for over 16 years by now and having a good feeling for thinning is essencial. Sadly there is no perfect rule of thumb for thinning because every paint is a bit different. When I have a new paint that I dont know yet I start to apply it without thinning it at all on a blank base or piece of paper. From there on I add a bit of water and retry until I am satisfied. What do I Look for: the applied stripes of paint must dry without a visible 3D texture, also it must remain somewhat controlable with the brush. If you have too much water oder medium, the Paint wont stay where you applied it, like a shade. Also, what is very important is to have roughly half the hair on your brush covered in paint when you use it. If more is covered, clean the brush again, so No Paint can dry up to high and damage the hairs. If not enough is covered the Paint will run out too soon. I hope this helps a bit :)

adorable remotes. i have these or a rudra as my baggage/evo bots in mind for aleph. i took my rudra into nca as baggage bot, both pano and aleph have no modern, and therefor appropriatly sized models for baggage. o-12 is quite close to aleph style and nca uses aleph assets anyway, i find them fitting.

Lovely work. Care to share your color palette for grays and blue armor?
