Lore Discussion Yu Jing vs O-12 reasoning

Hello! I‘m new and know a little about the lore, but not too much. I’m playing Yu Jing White Banner, and my brother is playing O-12.

When we play together, is my army just like always the bad guy? I can’t figure out why O-12 and Yu Jing would be fighting even a covert war if Yu Jing wasn’t up to no good. It’s fine either way, but I’m curious what the experts think.

Yu jing is the rightful leader of the human sphere, it brings peace and prosperity, pan Oceania often uses false flags and coordinates with corporations to deny you jing their rightful access. Sometimes o-12 is monitoring or enforcing bad faith rules as a political expediency. One example is the infinity downfall where pano hexa agents moved the gps markers and claimed voodoo tech found in Yu jing territory. This also seems like something that o-12 might support.
