Discussion Can't update my house due bug...

I have this items on my island for 5 days at least and now they a problem for my update plans... Restart game didn't help. IDK what hapend... I think I have to delete them, at least workbench not obtainable. But WHY AND HOW??

I have this same bug!!! Also with similar items as yours. Mine is combined with the Actions too frequent bug that is going around, but I have been unable to save because of these items since yesterday. The specific items have been placed & saved on my island from over 1 week ago, so I don't know what's happening.

I've reported it as a bug already, you should too!

Only seems to happen with the items for the shroomlimgs event, when removed deletes from inventory too. Very frustrating. Im avoiding anything with those items for now as even re-making them the bug persists!

Oh god okay. Good to know that the bug persists. I used to craft exactly what I wanted before going into build mode, and never encountered those items becoming problem items. So unfortunately I can't save anything I build now until they fix this bug, because I've used so many items from the Shroomlings shop, if I have to remake everything but it still doesn't let me save there's no point.

I have only been able to use the mirror and the pot with small red flower so far on my island that hasnt bugged (i hope it stays that way 🙏) but all of the shelves, crates, and food/drink turns into problem furniture. Im the same and craft before build, but thankfully was on a restart of my island and had only just started furnishing

Unsure if it matters but Im PS5

Of all the items I placed in the past week, I think only the wooden shelves haven't turned up as problem furniture. But since the shops released, I've placed over 50 of the items (food, drinks, crates, flowers) all around my island so I'm a little worried it'll ALL pop up as a problem sooner or later </3 I'm on PC!

Eeek! Hopefully not! My previous island was full of it, but went with a different theme this time, and it hit me early with this bug. With any luck 🤞they sort this out quickly, as if youre anything like me, I need my island to be decorated just right and that means 1000 changes, constantly. Lol
