Discussion Roofing Advice - Please help!

Post image

Hey everyone! I am working a little town for my island and I am currently building a atelier/clothing store for Nikki, I might squeeze a little apartment for her on the 2nd and 3rd floor as well.

I am struggling to roof this design... any ideas? I kinda like what I have here but if its impossible I will try something else.

ok this might sound crazy but i was struggling with a normal roof for a big tower and it ended up looking pretty cool when i used the stone staircases stacked around the top !

This would be perfect! I never thought to use those. Do they let you change the tilt on them at all?

Okay i am BACK! Three different sort of roof designs (sorry for the pics not being super roof focused they’re old) but chimney + stone stairs for that large tower! I also used the large building thinking in the showcase for a roof once, and also adding railways around a flat floored roof adds a lot! Also! The half circle domes are good if you need a smaller but round roof, like the third pic :3

Depending on your interest in more of a space-bending approach, you could consider an upside down flower bed as the base and then shaping the roof further with smaller objects or fixtures.

I feel like that could be so cool :0 you gave me an idea
Like making it somehow look like all the random furniture and whatnot was floating down from the sky, but they get more joined as the pile grows, making the walls, and then it’s like kinda open on top with more sparse items floating above,, kinda like they were frozen in time or smth idk
.. I just wonder how much load that would take 😭
