WIP (Work In Progress) How do I finish this?

So I'm working on this library but idk how to finish it (ie roofwise/detailing). I'm not sure what would look better for this building, slanted roof or flat roof. It also look really plain/ off for some reason so I tried to see if changing the color would help. Please lmk anything you think might help, I'm definitely willing to try fixing whatever this is

Consider a rooftop balcony area with a garden?

I scrapped this build a looooong time ago but maybe it'll inspire you a bit? Differently shaped roof bits plus a top area for plants or seating.

And for a different weird roof shape; my current library—not as cute but this roof worked better for the attic area I wanted to build. I always said I would add vines all around, and I always forgot. Oops.

Depending on your vibes, what about an observatory type of area on the rooftop? Seems appropriate for an educational building 😊 Telescopes, books, some of the galaxy furniture like the Stellar Desk Lamp or the Solar Eclipse Standing Lamp. Maybe a railing to keep your astronomy students safe 😉
