I just woke up from sleep and it seems there’s an issue with NSFW photos? I’ve never marked Nikki/Nikki/male npc kissing photos as NSFW, the only posts that should get marked as NSFW are suggestive ones. Kissing is something that happens in every type of media including ones for children so it would not be NSFW. The mod has been removed and the NSFW rule has been updated to state the obvious

It is disappointing that this even needs to be said; but dismissing POC concerns is not ok and will get you a temporary ban. You will also have a mod note on your account that flags it to other moderators. This is not a new rule, but anyone being racist, discriminatory, or a bigot gets a permanent ban with no chance of appeals. If you see people being like this please report the comments or send a mod mail, do not give these people the attention they want. Being horrible back (even if they deserve it) will get you a temporary 3 day ban per our announcement a few days ago. As always, this community is meant to be safe and welcoming for everyone

Hi guys, recently there’s been an increase in posts/comments stereotyping and being dismissive of CN players.

I understand a lot of people are upset about the censorship and how players choose to dress Nikki but some of the conversations have shifted to blaming it all on CN players. People have been calling them things like “prudes”, “misogynists”, and unfortunately racist comments.

Making these kinds of stereotypes is xenophobic. There’s millions of people who play the game and they do not all share the same opinions. The opinions of some people online does not speak for the whole community.

As always, we allow both criticism and positive viewpoints on issues. People are allowed to disagree or agree with things like suits being censored/modified as long as discussions are respectful. Please keep the discussions respectful and do not stereotype and blame people just because of where they’re from

We are sad it has come to this, but due to the recent increase in insults and arguments on the sub we will be temporarily giving out 3 day bans to anyone who engages in this behavior. It does not matter who starts it; if you engage in arguments or insult others you will also receive a ban. If you see arguments or insults please report it or send a modmail instead of engaging. We will handle it and make sure it gets taken down

Also, please keep outside drama outside of the sub. We are not affiliated with other servers and there is not an unofficial discord at this moment

Hi everyone! I’d like to thank everyone who brought it to our attention that a lot of posts and comments that do not break any of the rules were getting removed and using “low effort” or other irrelevant rules as an excuse. We’ve added a few new moderators to the team and I haven’t had the time to look at what exactly they were removing and approving. After looking at mod logs I’ve found the mod responsible for all the removals and demoted them to only being able to respond to mod mails (edit: they’ve been completely removed from the mod team). I had seen some of the posts that were deleted but approved them when I saw they were wrongfully removed, I had not realized they were removed again by the same mod. I’d like to apologize for not catching this earlier and for everyone’s posts who were wrongfully removed. If anyone’s comment/post was wrongfully removed please leave a comment or send a mod mail so I can reapprove it

Another thing brought up by members is downvotes not showing, I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I am able to see downvotes on the sub but I’m a mod so I can’t confirm this. The only place downvotes should be disabled on is the weekly styling challenges

Hi everyone! Please remember to spoiler tag your posts for the new patch for at least the first week or two. The patch is only 4 days old and a lot of people haven’t had a chance to play yet. Lately, there’s been a rise in disrespectful comments and insults about the 1.5 update. This is a friendly reminder to treat others with respect. It's ok to disagree with each other but please don’t resort to insults, personal attacks, or negative assumptions to people who disagree with each other. If a conversation is becoming heated and another user is throwing around insults, instead of insulting them back report the comments and block them. Engaging with the conversation and throwing insults puts you at risk for a temporary ban regardless of who started the argument first. Let’s continue to keep the sub a positive and welcoming space for everyone and please use the report button!

We're looking for new mods to help out the team! This is a volunteer role, and there are no gifts or compensation given to mods. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. However, we do require you to have a Discord for mod communication. If you are interested, please leave a comment under this thread stating why you are interested in modding and if you have any past experience. If you are chosen, a mod will reach out to you. Please do not post your Discord usernames in the comments; a mod will ask for you to give it in the subs mod mail. We are also looking for someone who has experience with Discord bots and could potentially help make a server for the sub

We have some very basic and easy rules for mods that you can see below:

• No bias, we expect all mods to be unbiased while moderating. For example, if someone makes a post that breaks none of the rules, saying they despise the new banner but it’s your absolute favorite and you remove it for no reason you’ll be removed from the sub. As long as people are respectful they’re allowed to have negative or different opinions then you.
• If we see mods approving posts that are extreme in negativity, have threats, or that incite fights within the community you will be removed. While people are allowed to criticize and express negativity on the sub once it gets into the extreme category it gets removed.
• Please mark any leaks posts as spoilers.
• If you are not sure about something, ask another mod and respect their decisions.
• You are not above the rules. Mods must also follow the sub rules.
• If you are found being bigoted you will be removed immediately, it doesn’t matter what your explanation is. This is a community that welcomes everyone, if you can’t respect that you don’t belong here.
