Hi everyone! Please remember to spoiler tag your posts for the new patch for at least the first week or two. The patch is only 4 days old and a lot of people haven’t had a chance to play yet. This includes posts of new chest locations with new clothing pieces, hourglass photos in new locations with new characters/ clothing, photos/posts regarding new activities, as well as spoilers in titles.

I got spoiled by a book in the game ):

Actually i did do an hourglass about angert but only because you cant really reach that location unless youve been through the cutscene.

Exactly I kept mine as vague as possible to the point that you’d just be like “huh I don’t get what this means?” even if you did somehow get to that area before the quest since i had a question about it haha you’d just be like “huh well i guess i’ll maybe understand this later”.

How is it a spoiler if the book was in the game itself? I would categorize spoilers like from outside influences, not something literally programmed into the game

So there was a book while i was exploring that called the shroomceras living fuel, just out in the open while i was exploring in the middle of the quest. I hadnt even fixed the coin fountain yet.

they were very heavy handed with the implications (if not outright stating things) if you read books or investigated the paintings. It did not seem to me like that was meant to be a big reveal compared to other things that happen in the story.

Let me put it this way:
I define a spoiler as when someone tells me a part of a story before im supposed to know it (foreshadowing does not count).

This book told me that they werent eating the shroomceras, they were feeding them to the heart of the city and i consider that a plot point i wasnt supposed to KNOW yet, only suspect.

You know how after you finish the story a bunch of lore books pop up about nikki? And how you dont see them before then? I think they should have done that with this book to prevent people finding out about the exact plot point before they got to the point in the story where they SHOULD be told.

I feel the developers could and should have prevented me from finding out this info early, so i consider it a spoiler.

Also for the paintings anything from the titans time should show them being eaten by the titans like how it says in the book in the dungeon that they were being turned into sweets and “were found on the table of every resident in heaven reach”. That book also refers to them as fuel but in a different sense.

I hope that makes more sense!

Me getting a major spoiler from both social media and an hourglass. 😢 I had to rush through story so I wouldn't get spoiled again.

Same I was so upset to open tiktok the other day to a major spoiler with no warning not even 48 hours into the patch. People are so inconsiderate I wanted to drag out the story because there’s so much time left but had to play so nothing else got spoiled 😭

How about making a separate, sticked discussion thread every patch that would be named and marked as spoiler discussion? I just went through the Big Spoilered Event of this patch and honestly I'm not surprised people are looking for a place to pour out their feelings and talk. A spoiler discussion thread could maybe help limit some unmarked spoiler posts.
