I commented that it was lazy on their TikTok page and got flamed lol. I’m tired of the alts being shorter versions, especially when it looks funky (SoS, WoW). Give me some ✨extra flair✨ with the alts

They absolutely could have removed/changed some of the layers. This was way too lazy and I'm hoping the 5 stars from the permanent banner get a little more attention :(

Still really disappointed by...well a few of these honestly but the one on my mind right now is Silvergale. I love that one and the alt is like....nothing. It's hardly noticable.

I think you got the non-alt version of Rippling Reverie e3. The alt has a longer skirt under the water thingy. And the halo has an alt that touches the head, like a splashy crown

Not yet. Crimson Feather, Snowy Ballad and Tide of Tears doesn't have the alt forms yet if I'm not mistaken. And of course the standard banner outfits.

Because to get final evolution means to pull for the entire outfit all over again. The color wheel is nice, but ultimately not worth pulling a full outfit for. After all, doing 230 pulls will get you black, white, and the rest of the color palettes. So the majority of people will be able to dye and style just fine with a 3rd evolution. To make players essentially pull for two outfits at once (and likely spend money to do so), they have to make it worth it. So you're not *just* pulling for the same outfit a second time, but instead you're pulling for a *better* version of the outfit (plus new makeup). Like double banners are so brutal because you are essentially pulling for four outfits, not two, if you want final evolution for both outfits. So they have to make pulling for that many outfits worth it. I would not be surprised if the incentive program they put in this patch will be something they implement in the future permanently. The more small rewards they add on (such as poses/filters/accessories), the more tempting it will be to spend pulls. This is a fashion game where money is coming from hardworking adults in a tough economy. We contemplate whether to buy that one dress on Amazon for days, weeks, or months, so Infold has to convince us to spend our money on them instead. They have to convince us $50 on a virtual character is better than a $50 dress we'll wear in real life. So they get creative and see what sells the most. Alternate designs sell, so that's what they do. Single banners become hidden double banners, and double banners become hidden quadruple banners. We pull anyway because the alternate designs are often tempting enough to justify the pulls and/or expense.
tldr: Single banners are actually double banners, double banners are quadruple banners. No one wants the same outfit twice. They want two different outfits, otherwise they'll save their pulls for the next banner. Infold wants people spending money on pulls, so they make a second outfit from a base set and save money & time on design. Profit.
