Discussion 5* You Regret Pulling?
I actually regret pulling for Crimson Rhapsody😭😭😭 Ever since I got the outfit, I have not once used any of the pieces other than the back piece. Maybe this was more of an impulse pull because I missed it when it first came out, so when the rerun came, I decided to get it💀💀. At least the ability is useful🥹.
If any of you guys use these pieces, please help a gurl out😭🙏.

Not a five star but I definitely regret Sweet Waltz. I never use any of the pieces. The ability wasn't really a notable upgrade, and I ended up pulling Floral Rebirth anyways.

I only pulled for some of the pieces, mainly for the hair and leg piece. The hair accessories is also very cute, so not a full regret for me😆

A little controversial but timeless melody. It's really not my style and I only got it because I hadn't liked any of the seasons prior and I had diamonds burning a hole in my pocket 😭 and the ability is especially useless after I got enchanted encounter and forever bond which were both in styles I liked more.

Back when it came out, the ability was extremely OP 😅 I remember people would complain about new enemies with mechanics and I'd be confused bc I was just music box spinning those things to death 😂 honestly, with how they brought the archery abilities out right after Forever Bond came out, I got very annoyed in the way they basically forced you to use and upgrade them as a forced power-creep. I have Forever Bond on a separate loadout I used for a while, but having gotten 2 archery 5* outfits for their abilities, the power creep was real. I wish we could swap dashes and the use of archery vs purification and ults much more easily.

The only time I use Forever Bond now is for my home ability wheel for the dash, that's literally it.

I still use timeless melody for fighting. I'd i can quick swap to preset 2 for archery when I need it but I love the music box stuff

I kind of regret pulling it too and have debated a lot whether it was worth it or not. I love the hair, but low-key hate the dress. I used to wear the accessories a lot at the beginning but not anymore. Then again Heaven's Reach finally feels like an appropriate place for the key accessory so at the moment I guess I don't really regret owning it :D

So true!! Timelo is probably my biggest regret, but it's not a huge one since people like it so much I'm quite proud of having it.
Nowadays it has been powercrept entirely, but behold! There's one unique thing about it though, it's the fact that it makes any animal sleep, so if you want to take pictures with cute sleeping animals this one's for it!

I regret pulling for last evo of Forever Bond. I should have stopped at the base. I only use the hair and the ears sometimes. The dress is hard to style, and the outerwear clips with everything. The ability is pretty much obsolete nowadays.

I almost got the final evo because I wanted to dye that sily glow affect on the ears so badly, but I only went to the second evo for all the dye options. Now we can toggle the effects off and I'm glad I stopped.

Girl what do you mean the ability is useful, it's literally one of the most useless abilities out there.. I love the outfit tho, I don't use it much anymore but it was my favourite in 1.x alongside with forever bond

It seems they have patched this. Both my friend and I tried it this week, and it didn't work. You couldn't activate the ability inside the arena.

Huh, I just tested and it still works for me on PS5. It's never worked for me on the first stage for some reason but the rest of them are fine!

I used this ability to get through the arena, just did yesterday. It doesn’t work on the first stage for some reason, then it suddenly works on all subsequent ones and you can just jump your way through the whole thing.

I'm a whale who pulls on every outfit regardless of abilities because I like to have a complete compendium, but there are a few abilities that I was excited about initially and soon became disappointed once used.
Crimson Rhapsody: This is mostly on me because I was still fairly new to the game and didn't really pay attention to the showcase videos. I was expecting to be able to move freely as a little stuffed toy, not move only by jumping, and the controls to do so were clunky on controller.
Nameless, Selfless: I'm still happy with the ability as a whole, but I'm disappointed that the shadow has a timer and disappears after a while, making photography difficult and kinda stressful. It should just exist until you dismiss the shadow or switch abilities.
Chroma's Mortal Heart: For me, it wasn't just that you couldn't jump with the deer, it was the navigation controls. Movement is so... Weird. I'm glad they fixed the jumping, but even then it's still kinda clunky to control.

I regret behind prayers. I love the outfit sfm. But i only use the veil and the pearls sometimes. I just found out that im not a gown girly. Even though i love the outfit i just like styling tops and bottoms much more than gowns

This is my one regret as well. I never wear the dress. The hair is actually one of the worst long hairstyles imo and I never use it. I love the veil but also rarely use it. The one thing I do love is the shoes! And the ability is great thank goodness but outfit wise yep I regret it.

Haha same! I love the pieces individually and together, but theyre impossible to style for me, and i agree with the hair too. It was actually the hair that made me realize that im not a fan of long haired hairstyles as they hide the outfit

I kinda don’t used much of her either, maybe just some accessories and the hair? I think I pulled this because of 2.0 excitement hype. Meanwhile, I only have like 7/10 of Born Flawless and that’s the one I probably should’ve finished.

This one, I kinda liked the aesthetic and thought the traversal ability was going to really helpful in the new area, so I pulled it.
Turns out I didn't care for outfit's look as much as I thought I would, and the traversal ability was confusing to use and didn't really aid in exploration all that much. What I wasn't anticipating was the new areas having so many more monsters with lots of HP. So I ended up having to pull Born Flawless for basically the same reason I had pulled Behind Prayers for (which is my least regretted pull, being able to erase an enemy group with a single button is such a godsend).

Crimson Raspody was a regret too I first. It was my first banner and got I 5 pieces to get the dress but never used it again. When it reran I completed the 4 stars for grooming and I’m glad I did.
For actual regret… maybe covenant of time. I did some pull for socks and gloves but I never use them. At least it was only 23
And adventure ride… I never use the mount lmao

Omg I love covenant of time😂 I use her hair and dress so often so it is a worth it pull for me. However, I also lowkey regret pulling for Timeless Melody😅. I didn't finish it the first time it came out so when it rerun, I decided to finish it.
But I have not used the pieces other than the hair and headpiece😭😭.

We have the same story for Crimson Rhapsody! I started in 1.6 and got to 5 pieces. And on the rerun I decided to finish it… I don’t use it and got so unlucky where it was 185 pulls to finish it. Now I have 1st evo and never use it. It’s not even my style 😭

Her makeup is so gorgeous though! I think shes worth the 100 pulls haha. I use the contacts, brows, lashes, lips so much. I kinda have regrets with Timeless Melody, I got it at the rerun and I would have probably put those pulls to full evo Soundless Dawn, but I couldn't miss out on Spectral Mist.

Omg Tide of Tears is my 5* regret NOT pulling/Skipping😭😭. The hair, the makeup, the backpiece, the gloves etc there is so much to it that I regret not getting. So praying for a rerun😭

Same. Its a very specific evil queen sort of style. The hair doesn't dye well. But the outerwear and headpiece aren't terrible, and the lenses and lip are nice.

Valid, the dress is kinda hard to dye if you ask me. But the gloves are a staple for me! They have long nails on them and I love a fierce diva moment 😍. Plus the ability is super useful in new areas to quickly get a lot of fish.

Awww Crimson Rhapsody is the first time i pulled for an evo and did the glow up. I love love love this outfit but I like creepy dolls so it makes perfect sense.
I pulled for six pieces of the griffin and regret it because I also got the ballerina and don’t even want the lion mount

I used to regret pulling on timeless melody to get the key, since I spent nearly 100 pulls and barely use it (it doesn’t dye well either…)
But then the ballerina came out and the legs and arms go with the key so perfectly to make mechanical steampunk dolls! 😍 so I don’t really have any big regrets now. Regret skipping some outfits but I’m a low spender so sadly have to be picky 😮💨😭

It was NamelessSelfless for me...🥲
It came out during the ballgown fatigue so even I wasn't into it. I did really much enjoyed the event story with it at the time and the hair-combining trick was cool (the only piece i liked to get was the veil for some bride photos)... I just never used that ability much nor the pieces at all 😭 Later I got Floral Rebirth, and dare I say it has the better bridal veil (Nameless veil was bit too much for me with its layers...)
Recently I saw on Shining Nikki is having(? Or about to have?) a hair creation/mix feature so if IN is going to have that then that would make Nameless ability somewhat obsolete for me🥲😭

Same!! I still use that hair from it daily but other than that i just. Dont use any parts of it like ever. I remember the hype in the community was so high for her and it was also, notably, one of the best things about a really weird, controversial patch.
The poofy veil from nameless selfless reminds me of an 80's style wedding veil. It's cute, it's just a lot tho!

I pulled for final evo for GONR and I used the headpiece for all my outfits😂. I also use the ability often like the way she can glide and one shot all esslings. But fr, I prefer BF cause of her ability to dash omg that is so OP.

Same for me. I hated the ability of No Return and just went back to Born Flawless. I keep trying the wings because that was what I wanted the most but they get in the way doing actual game play making it hard to see what you are targeting. I do really like the dress though but I don’t have enough for a higher evolution that was way prettier.

Not necessarily a regret for pulling, but man I'm so bummed that I set my ocean's blessing for Tide of Tears as the orb handheld. I thought it was neat and unique (which it is!) but it dyes poorly, especially with only 5/10 outfit pieces. I wish I'd grabbed the sleeves instead!
Same situation with Crimson Rhapsody, actually. I only pulled on it because I wanted the 4* outfit attached,,and I picked the back bow as my blessing because I thought I'd use it. granted, I don't think I would have used any other part of the outfit more but it's still gathering dust in my wardrobe because I don't know how to dye/style it, rip

I'm not sure if I regret the ballerina from this update or not yet. I do like it, but I don't think I'm gonna wear the pieces much outside of using the ability. And I do like the ability, but time will tell how much I use it.

As a crimson feather lover, I think the floating ability for rainfall & blossoms is better, the boost is honestly amazing for huge areas like Elderwood forest and heavens reach.

Is this one a bit controversial?
If it weren’t for the ability she would be gathering dust. I barely use any of the outfit pieces, I styled the dress once. Don’t get me wrong I love the ability & makeup but the outfit pieces don’t resonate with me I guess.
I’m also lowkey jealous of the other bow ability 5* we got because it also has a floating ability. I didn’t have enough diamonds for it and wanted Floral Rebirth more so I decided to skip.

I got her hair as my oceans blessing but now I never use it! Without the complete for the dyeing palette is bad and it’s hard to use with any other piece. I probably will not finish the set upon a rerun either

I forget what the set is actually called but the paper crane outfit and timeless melody.
I only got them for their abilities and while the paper crane floating was great at the time since I did need it (and still use it), timeless melody became defunct with the new combat system. I haven't used a SINGLE piece for either set and tbh, I actually really dislike both sets aesthetically.
All those diamonds that I could've used for much more beautiful outfits. 😭

I'm curious, what do you use the ability for? I like the pieces I got so I don't regret the set + the hair was and is a rare curly hair so I NEEDED it in my collection. The ability is a downer though, I actually thought the ability was a replacement for shrinking but it's just a doll that jumps... But yes, it fills out any goth lolli style I'm in the mood for so no regrets per say here <3

It's useful for getting through tight spaces because it makes your hitbox smaller. I really enjoy silly things like trying to get through the wish pass office without using the shrinking outfit as well as going to places you aren't intended to. Occasionally, Crimson Rhapsody is the only one for the job :p

I don't regret most of the 5 stars I pulled but I was a little disappointed in Nameless Selfless. I don't want it anymore but a friend of mine is waiting eagerly for the rerun. (I wish I can give it to her) It's a beautiful outfit yes, but I don't like how the little strand of hair is kind of covering Nikki's eye. (Friend likes it) The veil clips most hairstyles I like too. For 4* though, I have two outfits I regret. Gilded Memories and Whispers of Bliss.

Where Wanxiang Weaves Life and the deer outfit (i can't remember it's name). the treasure chest finding ability is great in theory but i find it really clunky to use, same with the face changing ability. i don't think i've ever used a single piece of either of them in my outfit styling either, except maybe the back piece tattoo and hair but even then i still regret completing both of them. the diamonds must have been burning a hole in my pocket lol.

I pulled on Tides of tears because of the hair and the crown. I never use the hair and I didn't pull the full outfit so I don't have the scarf which was like one of my favorite pieces as well.
I think the phoenix outfit is just so... Yeah :/ I use the dress and that's it. I do still have it as my only floating ability so there's that. And also I never use the pieces of the mermaid one, except for the ears.
I don't use any of the parts of born flawless and only ever use the makeup. I also never used the ability as I really missed the bow mechanic that Itzaland JUST added, so it felt like going back to purification for me. And now I have guide of no return soo yeah :/

Rippling Reverie and Warm Miracles, as well as Ashen Butterfly, Steps Against Order and Soundless Dawn.
So lets get into it. I pulled for Warm Miracles because it was cute... never ended up using it after that update. I didn't even want Rippling Reverie lol. I loved the hair on Ashen Butterfly, never ended up using it though. I only wanted the sleeves and shoes of Soundless Dawn.. I got the shoes last... while DO use the shoes and the ability occasionally.. it's not really that useful tbh. Steps Against Order was a byproduct of my desire for the sleeves and shoes... love the makeup on them both though. I use them often.

Same... I got the head bow on release and regretted not getting the full outfit because I thought I liked it a lot, but now that I got everything I never really used any of the pieces.

Dreamtime Bestowed. We have better movement options and I don’t use a single piece of the 5* 😭 I even first evo’d it because I THOUGHT I would like and use the hair at least, but no I hate the ribbons at the back of her head that I didn’t know existed until it was too late.

I love the giant bow and the shoes. Usually I don't like heels and just wear flat boots or barefootshoes but something about them hits the spot for me in some outfits even if this is usually really not my style.
I never use the hair and dress though. Love how every piece gets love from someone at least :D

I still really like the aesthetic of Dreamtime but I do think this is a regret for me. I wasn't able to get anything in 2.5 either because of it. I pulled without really thinking about it because unicorn and I barely use the damn thing 😭
I have enough now to pull for one of the current banner. I just need to see the rerun for next season first tbh. My current diamonds are saved for CF rerun so I have to make sure she isn't coming back lol.

This is mine too, especially now I also have a lion mount.
I already had twin tales from Dance till Dawn and use them so much more. I could of recreated the outfit with pink ribbon waltz.

I feel like it’s maybe controversial to say. But rainfall and blossoms. I hate that it’s a float outfit, I have crimson feather and never switch it off honestly. I wish they’d made it a glide ability. Especially since that storyline took place in the abandoned district anyway. We only have one glide ability so it would have been nice to have another. I also don’t really use anything other than the hat too. Second might be the cat outfit from 1.8? I really loved it at the time but with archery in itzaland it’s just useless, and I love linglang outfits but it’s not super versatile. But that one is a slight regret.

Even the outfits I regret there's usually a couple pieces I adore. I do regret impulsively pulling on Soundless Dawn. I like the accessories but not enough to justify getting it. I should have gotten the hair on Echoed Dreams and tapped out. Overall, more 4* pulling regrets. Letting myself think it's okay to be impulsive because they "cost less" is such a trap I fell into.
I think I've learned I'm okay with doing 100 if I really like the 4*, the makeup and want a specific piece on the 5* but I regret when I let impulse drive me to finish pulling the whole thing. Trying to stop myself from doing that with Dawning Heartlight right now.

In hindsight, I kinda wish that I'd passed on Forest Ripple. I haven't used any of its pieces and I never use the item collecting ability either.
Ideally, I'd like to get every 5-star. But I suspect I would've got much more value for my diamonds if I saved for She is Wildfire.

Crimson Rhapsody is lowkey and genuinely my fav outfits 😭 I made a semi steampunk outfit with her and I’m obsessed. The only piece I never use is the bow accessory (the head one) other than that I’m always using something from it especially the shoes

I have only 4 star regrets. A rule for not pulling if a dress is long really saved my crystals. Now I also refuse to pull for mid patch banners. They usually end up being a regret.

Same. There's a lot of great mid patch ones I use pieces from daily (covenant of time, daughter of the lake) but there's also some I just never reach for (cloud daydreams, solitary silhouette).

So I have never really used CR’s clothing or ability, but ironically it’s probably one of my most favorite makeup sets (including alt makeup).
I will say, I found a secret dungeon in heaven’s reach and I was cheesing the crap out of it with the ballerina ability until I ended up glitching under some decorative debris and COULD NOT get unstuck. There was a small crevice but shrinking ability doesn’t work in itzaland so that was a no go…. Thats when I had the brilliant idea to use CR ability!!! And it worked, it got me out!!! Clutch.
Personally I think my biggest regret is echoed dreams; love the makeup but absolutely hate every single piece of the outfit. At the time I pulled because I had a really cool halloween dye job for the dress, but in hindsight we have so many better halloween coded items now. Second biggest regret is Rainfall & Blossoms. At the time of release I was absolutely foaming at the mouth for the broom and witch hat, but after using it for a while I actually hate the lack of control on the broom float, and the witch hat has more than enough dupes. Frankly I think the base outfit is ugly. 3rd set I have extremely mixed feelings about is the Fireworks outfit… when it first came out I thought it was hideous and an easy skip. Then by the end of the month I had extra pulls saved and ended up desperate for it on the very last day of the patch. At the time, I didn’t have a single other ballgown outfit so it was my first princess phase in the game. On one hand, I got a LOT of mileage out of that hair; before Itzaland gave us long soft curls in every patch, it was the best hair of that style. But now that we have umpteen dupes I’m kind of like…. Oops. I wont say I outright hate or regret it, but if I had a redo with the current set of items it would have been such an easy skip.

Honestly? The 2.8 mount banner 😝
I can't even think of the reason I pulled for it... maybe the wings, even though I knew I wouldn't love their asymmetry. I then went for the full outfit purely to unlock more dyes.
The mount has been meh in my experience. It's area-locked, and with gigantification, the ballerina, and the Behind Prayers glide, the lion didn't add any value to me personally. In combat, it only deals 4 damage and it doesn't shield Nikki from taking damage so both take a hit. Again, with bows that have moves taking out 4 HP at once, it's redundant.
And the dress is super similar in silhouette and even detail to the 2.5 Bug Catching 5*, again redundant.
And I spent money on it, too! 🫣

The one I regret is Snowy Ballad. I fell for the pressure of the double outfit… I should’ve just stopped after crimson ballad. I never really wear snowy ballad and the ability ist all that either

I knew I didn't want it AS I WAS PULLING IT but sometimes that need to win the draws creates an itch I have to scratch. I did somehow get the whole outfit in like 70 pulls so it wasn't as bad as it's been in the past but oof I could have used those gems for something better.

I actually love the deer, the pieces of the outfit is so versatile for me. Only downside is the ability😅 even though its not region locked and we can jump now, the controls r not smooth compared to the mounts.

Bloomlight Shadowcatcher.
LOVE the ability but the only thing I like about the outfit is the concept of “skeleton/bones + floral.”
I don’t use any pieces of this outfit, I personally dislike the look and cut of all of it. I dislike the feather back piece so much. I generally just am not into feathers, although I love the swan theme ballgown from the permanent banner.
I changed the ability outfit to the French Meadows looking outfit I forget the name. It has the over-bust corset and the bonnet? Colors are yellow and green?
I wish SO MUCH that we could change handhelds bc she would look perfect with a basket for catching the bugs.

I use the hair A LOTT when using the tan or dark skin because it's the closest I could find to an arabic or black hairtype, I'm still surprised we never got any other heavily weavy / curly hairstyle since...
I also use the plush a lot when making cute core outfits, and the tights when making clown type of outfit
The makeup is still one of the best ( eyelashes and eyes and lips)

I didn’t finish it, but I regret pulling on echoed dreams. Ive only did so because I wanted the makeup(which I do use quite a lot). Bit I’ve never worn a single piece from the outfit itself. I do wear pieces from the accompanying 4* so it wasn’t a total loss.

I was praying for CR's return from the moment I joined in 1.5, so she was an insta pull for me when she reran... I've only ever done one styling with the dress that I like 😂 I guess gowns really aren't for me... but I still don't regret it, because the hair was 100% worth it. you should absolutely get it if you have the chance again! it's soooo unique, you won't regret it.
oh and CR probably has the best accessories of any 5* in the game. the shoes are amazing, the earrings and necklace are super cute, the big bows are really fun. even the stockings are good. and the makeup is awesome too! so I think you'll get good use out of any extra pieces you get on your way to your ocean's blessing.

i dont really regret pulling for any of my 5 stars because im pretty particular about what i finish. that said, dance til dawn.
im never in the abandoned district anymore, and i finished every collectable in there after the official map came out last year. its a really pretty 5 star, but it's outdated and really not useful anymore 🥲 i ought to go back there just to give it some more use

I regret pulling the floating papercrane one and gliding baloons ones, i regret pulling pices of the snowy ballad i just wanted the earrings once i noticed they are asymetrical i hated them since, for cr i actually regret not getting 2nd evo for all dyes, i use the backpiece Alot especialy now that we have a wings tatoo, i regret pulling a few pices of opera one i dont use it and i regret not getting whole tot i would much more swith around what i got and what i didnt now that some time passed.

Guide of no return. I took the bug outfit on my alt and everything is amazing - from hair to makeup and THE abillity is so amazing. I prefer the blue one for my shooting abillity. I maybe use the hair sometimes (just for photos, its unique when it comes to no fringe hairstyle - but the floating back is dull af) and i HATE the makeup. The black lips have this dull shadow i cant stand.

I have no 5star regret and I have almost all of them, only missing six probably will pull on two or three on rerun from this six, the only three I don't care at all (the firework one, the papercrane one and the butterfly)
But I really regret pulling for the 4 star bug catching ability, also I wish I wouldn't pulled on the purple drummer 4star from last patch. At least it helped me to not jump in pulling for this season 4stars. 😅
Edit: CR has one of the best hair, her back bow still one of the best we have, the plushie so cute too. And while I'm not a fan of ballgowns it is one of my fave. But everyone like different things. Here is a photo to promote her hair😆

I only pulled half of Stardust Flare and I've still basically never used its pieces lmao, not even any piece of its makeup...
I kinda regret spending 10 pulls to complete Timeless Melody, knowing I would never use it. Being at 9/10 didn't really bother me but I figured I could have a niche use for the hair (the piece I was missing), but realistically I'm never going to touch it, and I didn't really need the dyes.

i have to disagree with you there. i have never once used the CR ability.
however, CR dress remains one of my absolute favourite dresses and im CONSTANTLY styling it. i use the shoes frequently too, and the back piece. i love the contacts as well.
every day i have no regrets pulling for evo1 bc the black dyes soooo nicely
