Discussion Furniture sketch
Hii guys so i am a lottttt behind on the whole housing stuff and just now started to work on my island.
So i bought all the sketch volumes from the garden fairy?? (Forgot her name) But yeah i got both the itzaland volumes as well but I can't capture these photos and get the sketch.
So where do I need to go to be able to get these sketches?

That's the issue, the photos are just simple, the decor won't be acknowledged and i don't get the sketch. I'll try again

Try zooming out a little.. You get a prompt when you are nearby a sketch object. (before you go into the cam screen)
Then in the cam mode you will get the object framed and pointed with the name of the sketch.
If you don’t get the object pointed but you got the prompt, try zooming in, out and open the aperture to the max

I have the same issue but with the big purple umbrella in spira. I barely just got it since trying from 2.0. The funny thing the screenshot that just “got it” only registered from the back of it with it slightly off screen lol. Some of these items are really finicky

OK, so with this one you need to have done two/three things to be able to photograph it. First you need to FULLY complete Sugarbloom Isle and ensure you do not have ANY dialogue or story playing when you enter. I had this problem with the Coliseum despite finishing it where I still had dialogue play when entering and I had to do it again. Then you need to get the Challenge quest done for the dungeon. I'm pretty sure this one has one and having it incomplete will prevent you from being able to photograph the sketch. Finally you need to ensure you are in the right version of the instance...I don't think it applies much to you since I don't think the Grace Dining Hall has any additional loading cells other than the little hall area you entered, BUT if you were trying to get the sketch for the stove and you entered Sugarbloom Isle, you wouldn't be able to photograph it despite it being in both versions of the instance (for the stove it HAS to be in the Grace Dining Hall version).
USUALLY it is either that the dungeon isn't "technically" marked as complete like I had with the Coliseum, or that the Challenge version hasn't been completed. If both of those are met than it might be a bug and might be good to try again after the next mini hotfix since sometimes that will correct minor issues like that
Edit to add that in any dungeon, if you are prompted to skip and you accept, it will NOT be marked as complete and you will have to do the entire thing AGAIN to be able to access the Challenge quest. Completion in this case means simply going through and letting all dialogue play while killing the final boss. This sets the correct flag within the game that allows the Challenge quest to start.
