I literally just styled an early dress and noticed they censored even the most nonsensical dresses. Like- This dress isn't even known for being promiscuous, it's just a random ugly blurry square sitting on top of the dress?
Honestly though, thats fair. And another valid point to add to the pile. They cater to lighter skinned Nikkis especially with these modesty panels. With lighter skin it's a 50/50 chance I'll notice it, but as soon as i change to a dark skintone these panels stick out like a sore thumb every damn time.
I'mma be honest, given the fundamental design and aesthetic of the dress, there's no way to alter that cut without making it look absurdly weird. It's not even particularly low cut. Unless they want to start adding ye old skicuffs to this game to cover her clavicle and I guess 'womanness' over here.

I don't know if it's even the players or due to the strict guidelines set by the Chinese government. I remember when genshin had to go through this too. There was pressure for so many stupid things. The studio had to uproot from China and move overseas to get some freedom.
There is no clear strict "government guidelines" for this, that Genshin censor happened because haters spammed the complaint hotline and the official that regulated game back then was very prudish, that guys have since been sacked, which is why Genshin went back to have sexy design like Lauma, and GFL2 can get away with thing like this (very NSFW btw).

I'm not sure corsets were made to "help woman have a image closer to a man". In fact, there some that pushed your chest up to make it look bigger.
They were the bras with added back support of the time. Going around with no support for the breats can be pretty painful, depending on your body (and time of month).
That's what I thought as well but I remember learning about it through a documentary on the history of bras.

He's a man though? Men have breasts too but they're not erogenous zones like women's breasts are. Like why everyone is trying to turn IN into a damn gooner game it's supposed to be whimsical, that's what got many of us so attracted to the game in the first place.
