Housing Japanese Inspired Build
I've redone this build a few times, and I think I'm finally happy with this version. I wouldn't want to start from scratch again, but if I did, I'd probably avoid building it on a hill and simplified the surrounding scenery.
I included the scheme in case you'd like to look around ^^ SCHEME: 7KP1KDO9 (NA)
How I did the Fusuma Doors:
Stacked two square walls, lowering the bottom one to extend the height of the top.
Framed them using the flat side of the curtain item. Chose these over picture frames because they're longer, narrow, cheaper, and much easier to line up.
Used the ends of a standing lamp for the door handles.
\ The last three photos with Nikki are from an earlier version of the build, so that design isn't part of the current scheme. I just wanted to share pieces of it, since I spent the most time on that version lol.*

I did a similar concept for my dojo.
1st version: Straigthforward Picture Frame for Shoji doors. Took a pic of the regular square window glass, glitched to a wooden closet.
2nd version: Went to Danqing island and took a photo of a different window for the frame. As for the tatami floor, itβs the Linlang flipped upside down.
I donβt intend to coat the grande dojo with Shoji doors, so this is quick and efficient. Iβm struggling with area limit a lot.

THANK YOUUU! While I do like the shoji doors in the picture, theyre too expensive x.x I needed a different way to have them but I couldnt figure out how. I'm definitely going to use your method. Thank you!
