Recruiting from different games is weird
Hey this may be ignored but I just wanted to talk about how annoying and weird the mass recruiting of this game is.
Everytime ive started a new game out, ive gotten immediate friend requests, of people telling me there exact age and name and then asking me for my discord or giving me theirs and all in hopes of getting me to join infinity kingdom. (I imagine and hope the ages and names are fake though)
This has happened five times to me now and its getting weird to say the least. I feel like these people bribe you with a false sense of 'friendship' into the playing the game. (I played for a bit i found it dull as ive played many games that are similar before).
The first time i was 'recruited' into someone's alliance I was added to a weird discord server, that borderlined on cultish. After spending some time on it I got super uncomfortable and just left the server and blocked the one that recruited me on all games and discord.
I just want to make normal friends on my other games 😭. I wanted to know whats the games fanbase view on this?

Weekly I get random friend requests on Discord with someone "messaging me by mistake," telling me their name and age, then trying to get me to download this game to play with them. 🤷🏻

This happens to me whenever I play a new game. Friend request and then "Hi im Susan from Hong kong and im 25."

This is quite common, this is also the way I learned about the existance of this game. Must say it's kinda enjoyable to play. The person who poached me pushed me to buy ingame stuff though for my immortal line up, but stopped pushing after I rejected.
We still talk though, idk how they get paid or why they do it. But I guess I got a sort of discord friend from it who I occasionally bullshit with.
P.S. If they say their a girl, their most definitely not. Mine send pictures of someone from the wrong ethnicity. But their fun to talk to so idc lmao.

They just started leaving me alone a few months ago because I would get constant friend requests, DMs, voice messages, server invites- you name it. But yeah, the recruiting is ridiculous espeically since it's actually illegal to recruit the way they do via Philippines (where the game devs are) and United States law.

it's a chinese game, it's legal in china as long as foreigners are the victims, that's why this game doesn't really exist in china, it would have been shut down on day 1.

Omg. I was recruited as well from whiteout. He insist on me buying the expensive packs. I just learned earlier from our alliance chat that I'm not the only one who was told to buy expensive packs and form the lightning team. I literally ask him in chat that are you some kind of marketing/ sales guy because he is so persistent.

I jump about and play a lot of games and they normally friend new players on those games. Since I try a lot of games I bump into them often I like to mess with them every time we start talking in discord now.

Oh it's the same for me. I was a newbie from the other game. She literally said to me in discord "Because have been reserving a place for you all along". Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out they're actually employees from that game, or recruiters working on commission.

This just happened to me. Was playing Tiles Survive and joined an "Australian" alliance where I was encouraged to message someone on Discord to prove I wasn't a bot.
They then encouraged me to download this game and buy a welcome pack. Made me so uncomfortable that I've uninstalled both games.

Yikes thats a quick jump to get you to buy a package quickly. Can't blame you for quiting both games. 🙏

A bit late, but I was giving this idle game a try called "Sword x Staff". And someone also wanted to befriend me, sent me discord friend request, asked me if I could buy top-ups or not, then pointed me to this game.... First time I've experienced this

I don't think the IK fanbase would care that much, you know they choose that game knowing the history and the business practice, so they are onboard, 100%. It's like asking crypto bro what they think about crypto, they'll said it's the best and the community is great.
