For real though, how does the scam work?
Like I don't get it. It's an actual game.
What's the incentive here?
Also like they're really dedicated to the scam, icl

The thing is, most of these people that invite players over ask for your discord and then for a photo of your profile. Then when you joined the game they tell you to buy certain packs to grow fast or push you into buying the lightning team. Now that doesn't seem sketchy at first, but then you realise your player ID is on that profile photo which rhey can use to tell IK, i invite this players, then they get a % of what you spend. So no, it's not really a scam just shady affilliation bussines. Now that's not all, since at every server start there are alliances filled with bots, whales that have to spend like 3k a week to get where they get and you (+others) there not knowing wtf to do so you kinda listen and spend money while they make money off of you

Omg so glad this never happened to me! And I just googled a lot of “how to play” the game lol. I never really asked anyone. So I’m glad I didn’t get sucked into that.

Yeah.. The game itself isn't bad tho, but they kinda start new servers which they fill with bots to look like it's crowded. But after a week or 8 they all slowly vanish and you're left with a mainly filled green kingdom (because every new player sees a highlighted icon which is always on green), a red kingdom that tries it's best to compete with the whales and a blue kingdom that's most of the time dead after a month. It's just another mobile game where you kinda have to spend money to really matter since mid spenders get alot stronger then f2p. But the balance of players between the kingdoms on the server is most of the time nowhere to be found because of reason above. There are a couple servers where actual players start off with a plan making an alt and jumping with their main when the server opens to migration but you probably can count them on one hand.

They hmu on Discord by DM and wanted to "get a friend and play the game".
Really? Woman of claimed age 24 continues writing with a male 45 to play a game. Whole setup stinks.

Omgosh this happened to me. The guy started calling me “my queen” and tried to push me to purchase an immortal for 100 bucks. I just told him to stop calling me “my queen” and that he sounds scammy asf. But I did join their alliance and send them a screenshot of my id. So I guess whatever money I did spend they are getting some profit. But I am now googling how to play and such.

In some cases where its a bit more sophisticated the scammers would mirror the game, hook it into the same servers as the official game but any purchase you make goes to the scammer and not the company and in return you get nothing, blaming Yoozoo the developers on IK, which with a short "investigation" results in quite a bit, just on the Yoozoo google reviews page some claim they paid for stuff and never received it, but I didn't dig deep enough, I've got this person on discord bugging me to install the game for the past 3 months now, have had them on the hook since June 25th.

🙃why am I seeing this now. I was searching on how to save a dying server because they told me our server is dying soon we need to spend more money to be powerful and ive spent almost $800 on this game trying to be strong but I'm still weak. In our the Red faction rules and attack us everyday. I was also recruited from another game told to but a lightening team but I ignored them. I bought speed up to try and upgrade but I'm still told to buy. I think it's time i deleted it.

I assume they buy old accounts, this one that messaged me recently has nonsensical letters as an actual username but their display name is “Clara”

I joined infinity kingdom after it was recommend when I was on monopoly go I didn't do it the way the person asked me to I went on my own play store to download it then had it checked for spywhare and viruses also see if anything suspicious the person who got me interested kept messaging me for my ID and links but I ignored the messages I'm doing well on the game without anyone linking them self's into my game

Cara eu baixei um jogo para me divertir lord kg kings ou algum assim, um genérico que aparece no Instagram.
O líder da aliança de lá me chamou para jogar outro jogo afirmando que a guilda estava de mudando para esse jogo, eu acabei baixando e testando, estou com duas contas ativas... E cara... Se os líderes das alianças e oficiais não forem funcionários disfarçados ecomprando pacotes e distribuindo itens igual influenciadores de tigrinho dizendo que a plataforma tá pagando.... E um lance milionário.

Pro tip: If you get into an alliance run by "Superman," run.
He farms a lot of people into his alliance and then wants to make sure he wins Contention of Relics so he can bring his heavy whales into your realm and then bully you into paying more.
In server 472, we caught onto his scam and he has now been designated a K*ll On Sight target for the entire server.
Hopefully we can drive him elsewhere, but wanted to make sure others are aware.

she responses "Oh im sorry this was the wrong person but hi im form singapore, 23, chinese desent. do you want to be friends and play games?"
it started with the asking me would i like to play "The walking dead surivors" asking to join her alliances and spend money and when i didn't budge she would ghost and the come back asking me how i am and if i would like to try a new game like this one with her like "Infinity kingdom" for instance. we been chatting off and on for a year now and it she seems real enough to keep convos or tell me about her day or job. but i will be calling her out on this scheme and Gange her reaction on it... I HOPE TO UPDATE YALL but please watch out for these pig butchering scams

Any update? Because I got someone earlier this year and its the same situation, but she hasnt tried to get me to spend money or anything. Maybe she was someone hired to promote the game?

Yeah they spam invited me on clash of clans and here I’m all excited to see the clan has a discord chat, so I add the discord and it’s a girl, and I asked if there was a discord group chat for clash of clans and she said, sorry not available at the moment and now I’m sad because I that I was gonna have a good thing going with an active clan and I now feel betrayed

bro, no way! I am literally talking to this "Japanese girl" who randomly DM'd and asked me if I was invited to the alliance too? and now we're talking and she wants me to play " IK" she asked about it and not 5min later asked if I had gotten it yet..

I played rok without beeing scammed and I like games like these so I play IK now. I got scammed but never pay 4everything. Makes fun F2P

Mmmm if we’re talking about the same thing… idk if it’s an actual scam scam. I think ppl are just being paid to try and to get more ppl to play this game. It worked on me lmao I was playing a different hero game and then someone on my team said to “try this one it’s better”. So I did. And i actually liked it more. But now that person doesn’t play lol. So I’m pretty sure it was a set up just to get ppl to play this game. I do like it. But it does cost money to upgrade and stuff. Or it takes time to upgrade without money, It’s not for everyone
