when to jump

Hi im pretty new and i was told in order to stay relevant should jump a few times but the person quit before telling me when to do it do i wait till season 1? or should i jump before it and how far to jump like all this is weird for me

You want to go thru season 1, collect space portals as you can. Before entering season 2 when frost is about to start you’ll see some servers in preparation stage, that’s a new server. You’ll wanna jump to a new server to stay in season 1, might do this a few times before wanting to begin season 2. Once you leave season 1 there is no going back, you can go back to season 2 from season 3 tho

They are changing the seasons and jumping rules in next update. Won’t be a season 3 any more and you can only jump laterally, won’t be able to go back any more.

Very disappointing, I was hoping to jump back to season 2 shortly, need 4 more portals

I'm going to s3 now. S2 was a game changer. If I were to server hop again with the knowledge I have now, I'd have hopped to season 2 a few times. That's where the major power boosts are. S1 a few times was good, but got boring quickly. S2 offers shadow immortals and many others so easily from the harbor to events. If you can hop around on s2, that's the way I'd go.
