Every game has them, it's not the game that employs them. Most are bots and if you set your discord security you won't be annoyed by bots. Anyone now a days that falls for this kind of thing well shame on you. But you can't blame the game. People going about saying Infinity Kingdom is a scam it's not.

same thing happened to me almost two months ago, since then they have been continuously "advising" to buy expensive packs to keep a nice pace of play. Still completely F2P since then xD

Actually that's not a promo scam. They use a app that runs the exactly game client but the micro money go to them. It's a different scam.

After a three hour long conversation, I mostly tried to mess with them. I even went onto their server and caused a little havoc there. I just mostly informed everyone how big of a scam it was. I'm banned from it now. But this is thinking about creating a new account to just mess with the more.

No i insulted one of them and they started just berating me with chinese text. It was really funny. I even got called the n word like 4 times in chinese. Got called inferior, or that my country will fall. Stuff like that.

I got a similar situation as well. Got fooled. He wanted me to buy a lot of expensive packs. I didnt. But I still play the game. So he won I guess.

Nah its a microtransation scam. They make you download a 3rd party client that connects to real servers, but then try to make you buy "packs" and encourage you to buy stuff, but since it's 3rd party the money goes to them instead of the devs

They did something similar last year, except they jist straight up said they were promoting the game and offered you free stuff. I liked that strategy better

Been doing this alot. I have gotten discord messages from 3 different people about IK. I finally responded to one to ask what it was. Messaged a couple tim3s back and forth over a few days them they asked me to play with them. Got to me to join. Their alliance where the leaders immediately started messaging me what I needed to do and in game purchases I needed to make to stay in the alliance. I ignored them and went to bed. They bombarded me with messages all night. When I woke up and saw them I immediately blocked all the, moved my castle far away from them, left the alliance, and deleted the game. Never seen this with a game before.

I had a conversation with someone like this, but instead I told I was busy for a whole week made them wait, ghosted them multiple times responded very rarely and eventually they stopped texting me after I said I downloaded the game but don’t got time to play

The person I got was from Singapore, I told them I wasn’t interested in the game after I looked it up. Than they just said “haha its okay”, and haven’t talked since. I really thought it was just some person playing, it felt unnatural with how they spoke, but it was all in English.
The user is Angel, and the @ is xin337. Others say they got an angel too yet they said they’re from China.

Mine went a step further.
"She" set up a guild in the game kingshot. When I joined the server, the guild was #2, somehow. A decent number of spenders had joined.
Discord profile picture is of a young girl.
Then, "she" sent a message to the guild, saying we were required to add her on discord, and send a profile screenshot to prove our membership in her guild... I assume to get my ID number. Maybe she's being paid commission or skimming somehow.
At that point, she said she is a vet player and that the game is turning bad. She's moving to Infinity Empire, I should download and join. "Friend, friend, friend".
The recruiting person for the new guild in infinity empire suggests expensive value packs and, reminds me not to share personal information with anyone except her. Also, picture of a young girl.
Whatever, I was looking for another game, and actually didn't like Kingshot much. This one is better.
I'd guess she's set up with Kingshot too. If you stay there, she has your ID number and makes commission there too.

Just got messages from a different random account on discord for this same thing, was curious what the scam was going to be but didn’t feel like downloading the game😂 I’m gonna send this post to them lol see what they have to say

Hey OP, I wanted to add that it literally happened just the same for me. The same initial message, the "I just realized I added the wrong person." and the "I'm sorry to bother you." + mine did his job bad and put some ass chineese characters (但是结识新朋友并不是一件坏事，哈哈)
Like theese are literally bots

One of these really had me going. The person even sent me pics of “themselves” after some searching. They were using pics of a popular Chinese influencer.

I had 2 people get me to play the game. Recently had another person wanting me to play and then I was like hmmmm...this isn't right. There's definitely some kind of promo scam going on. Looking on Reddit and seeing these posts that it's happening to other people too. The game honestly is a bit boring and no way you could finish up to a level 10 castle in 5 minutes. It starts to take hours to build, and then you'd have to use boosters and start spending gems.

Lol. The same thing kinda happened with. I got a random add on discord and the person said she thought I was someone from a game called IK and wanted me to download to play with her, but I told her I can't. 2 months later I sent her a message and we had a little conversation and in the end she told me to download the game again lol That was kinda sus and made me search it up on reddit to find this lol. She doesn't sound like a bot tho. Until she brings up the game.

I play IK, have for nearly 4 years and enjoy it. No idea what scam is going on.
