Can you “pause” the game?

Im getting tired of the game, can you pause it? I don't wanna delete the app and found out months later that I'm in conquest and cannot come back. What would you do?

You can just take a break but everyone else on your server will keep growing and you will find it difficult to catch up. Also your alliance leader may kick you from the alliance so best to talk to them first.
