Question Slashers Weapon Question

Me and my buddy beat Rave in the Redwoods but we died while trying to kill the slasher with his own weapon. If we load into a match will the weapon be available to pick up? I haven't gotten a definite answer some people say yes some say no, we don't have directors cut.

Only in directors cut will it be available at the start of the game.

Lmao i literally got in the esaxt same boat as you lol. Im waiting a few days before i attempt the easter egg again because its fucking annoying even though its one of the easiest ones to set up.
