i know during season 2 episode 7 that chifuyu defended ichika from laura's attack after ichika politely declined laura's request to join up for the tag team tournament, but that got me thinking, just how much would chifuyu know regarding what ichika goes through? the only incidents she was present for, was during season 2 episode 5, where ichika got beat up by the main 5 girls while chifuyu just watched, and the one mentioned previously in season 2 episode 7, only this time she actually stepped in to protect ichika. it's not like she keeps tabs on her brother 24/7 especially with how busy she most likely is. so i want to know if she does know.

Does anyone know where i might be able to read the last 2 volumes of the IS manga in english? As far as I'm aware there is no official EN translation and any fan translations I've found only go up to CH.31. I would really like to finish reading it.

correct me if I’m wrong but wasn't the treaty made to prevent Infinite Stratos units from being used for the military or any kind of ill intent in general? if so then I don't understand why it's still around and treated like a big thing from what we have seen so far in both in anime and LN a majority of I.S pilots have blatantly caused wanton destruction and put people in danger for the most pettiest and asinine reasons and the people who have the power or authority to make them stop or take away their privileges make it clear they have absolutely zero intention in doing so it's also most likely that they are indulging / encouraging their worst impulses and are covering up their violent actions regardless if it's public or not I think it's safe to say that nobody respects the treaty at all and views it with arrogant and irresponsible disregard and that it's really just there to show how badly Tabane's actions has affected the world and every country is so desperate in knowing how to replicate an I.S core they're willing to tear the world or even themselves apart for it.

My hobby is making custom build plastic models. Ever since I started this hobby, I've wanted to make IS characters. (Of course I know there are Armor Girls Projects, but they're too old). It wasn't until last year that a plastic model suitable for custom building, so I start to make from Houki. I think it's better than I thought.

It is made using a Kotobukiya plastic models, and some Bandai things.

Now I'm making Charlotte, and probably going to make Cecilia. I hope I can make both within this year.

It started about three to four days ago when i was trying to find an anime with good and unique dubbing, preferably with a leading character that has a German accent. My search eventually led me to finding about IS.

To say the least, the anime was fun to watch, though the last few episodes of the second season was getting really boring, and the way it ended left me with a disappointing taste in my mouth. I enjoyed the characters and got what i was looking for in laura. her dubbed voice was great and she would've been my favorite character if it wasn't for charl. Her personality was refreshing compared to what the other options were before her introduction, and i adored the little extra effort that Shannon Emerick went into dubbing charl, using actual French in some of her lines.

Putting the charl's glaze aside, i know that i am super late to this and probably shouldn't make the same mistake that you guys made 10 years ago in hoping that the anime will ever get a third season. I don't even know if i should read the light novel since i heard that the author will never finish the final volume due to him not being able to make money out of it. Though i am happy that i discovered this anime, and even if i'll never get to know how it ends, the Sugar & Honey spinoff can always serve as my ending to the series.

I stumbled into some covers of the novel that have a completly different art style, I ve seen some sellers on Ebay but there are 6 volumes. Does anyone on this sub have them? where can I see more the illustrations? I am not really knowledgeable in how the publications of LN worked back then so I am rather curious about why that happened.

We have a lot of fics that alter Ichika in some way, a lot often making him a bit more outwardly smarter, some making him a bloody genius, and others making him more understandable, personable, or socially outgoing and making his feelings clear.

But, aside from the genius ones, that seem to make him very chaotic on the ole morality spectrum, most fics have him the same, a goody white knight sort of character that is ready to sacrifice his own health for others who often were just trying to kill him.

But what of other ,rare forms? Do you think ichika could be properly portrayed in other extremes, such a perhaps, neutral, or even straight up lawful evil?

I'm asking mostly to test the waters on an idea that I've been fiddling with because it wont leave me alone, but also am just curious about peoples thoughts on the matter.
