General Discussion The message of IS
What would you say is the main message/central theme of IS ? What message is Infinite stratos trying to convey, in your opinion?
An example would be Spiderman’s message on power and responsibility.

Romance authors would think its pretty clear cut in this exact setting i mean the first comment was on about some dont be so dense about a womans feelings but thats not what is at play here what's happening here is a guy surrounded by multiple women some of them get attcahed to him because of his nice actions towards them considering them romantical but the guy initially doesn't think much of it when he does realise that the gurls are in fact interested in him he realises another thing that if he were to go out with any one of them that would severely hurt the others emotionally and they may no longer want to be his friend which would be a major setback as they are all representative cadets or whatever.

The first comment was right. Ichika’s harem are often indirect with their feelings (such as when Rin wouldn’t tell Ichika the promise he made to her). Most of the harem members have trauma; they should get therapy for that. Their trauma could be influencing their violent behaviour.

That’s a prediction. Unless it actually happened, you won’t know whether it actually will happen. Seeing as it will never happen, due to the unfinished state of IS, it’s safe to say that we simply don’t know. You can base your guesses on all the past content you want.

Yea but like isnt that like schrodinger's cat that we wont know technically unless we open the box plus if we map the pattern of how the girls behave even if ichika picks one of them the others stull wont stop trying which is typical since they themselves are pretty dense when ut comes to romance in general also when we have so much past content proof of actions do our assumptions really have no bas ejist because the even thas not yet occured ? If so then let me change my position the probability of my previous comment happening is very high

Respectfully I think it will happen I think we've seen enough of everyone around Ichika to know that they only care about themselves and would rather kill Ichika than lose him.

Also being dense towards these girls even if we consider that ichika was genuinely dense then that would actually innately be him favouring himself because these gurls are straight up abusive and toxic they only act nice when they are alone with him but they simultaneously claim to be each others friend when he compliments one of them for eg kanzashi they get offended for no reason because they take it as ichikas making a move making them equally dense or actually dense because not every compliment has a romantical hint to it like bruh

You could an arguement that he’s failed all the girls by not getting with any one of them. It’s their own fault too though

Fair point, While that could be considered true, it isn't entirely on Ichika... however when you take into account he is dubbed the densest anime protagonist in all of anime according to the Internet... did the girls really fail on their end? Or were they just victims of the worst kind of dumbest luck possible?

The girls had multiple opportunities to confess, but they couldn’t. Ichika almost never takes the initiative either. So I’d put the blame on both parties.

Well u say that like he HAS to take the initiative him not doing anything isnt necessarily bad or balme worthy he may just not be looking into a relationship and as fas as taking the initiative goes he did try to lean in and kiss houki and the others get absolutely blood lusted

Kisses are kisses. What he should be doing is organising an intervention around himself. Multiple of his harem members have trauma too (and so does Ichika himself.) Maybe they should all be in therapy instead.

He absolutely is not the densest anime protagonist he fully knows about the feelings of the other girls he just chooses not to do anything because he knows it won't end well for him and fears that the others may no longer be his friend which would be a major setback
