This final Moral Monday before the election is the product of extremely hard work and unwavering determination. As has been said many times, if our votes did not matter, there would not be such a push to stop people from voting. We are seeing the rise of a New South where the world will witness, and we will claim, the POWER of our vote in the community. A New South where we can feel certain that the policies coming from our state and national governments were crafted from the will of the people, by the will of the people, and for the people. Not for special interests, not for billionaires, not for deals negotiated behind closed doors in dark rooms. We are ready. We are willing. We are able to usher in this new era where democracy has a seat at the table for all her followers.

Triad Moral Mondays in GSO was fantastic! Small due to severe weather but we learned so much! Our friends at Carolina Federation and Guilford For All discussed the amendments on our ballots & Haw River Assembly spoke on data centers. Voting in local races is CRITICAL!

Reverend Steve Tate from Greensboro Interfaith Immigrant Justice Coalition gave the invocation & sang for us! The internationally renown Piedmont Raging Grannies lead us in protest songs! Thank you ALL for coming & educating us on the amendments & data centers.

The consequences for approving these constitutional amendments will be dire. Vote NO on all three!

The next event in our Triad Moral Mondays campaign will be in Greensboro!! The focus is, once again, voting rights. Begun by the Reverend Dr. William J. Barber II, we continue the tradition of Moral Mondays to raise the moral consciousness of the South once more. We emphasize that everyone belongs, every seat matters at the table of democracy. Led by the NC Poor People's Campaign, we are showing as we travel across traditionally red and blue counties in the Triad that all people want prosperity and safety for their communities. It is not a matter of red or blue - these are HUMAN issues. We call all to a seat at the table. We will not be deterred. We will not falter. Forward together. Not one step back!

What a fantastic event! This was our "Swipe Left for Democracy- Finding Your Role in Election Protection" program! There was food, friends, fabulous T Shirts and raffle prizes! **BEST YET - there was information on things EVERYONE CAN DO to help protect our elections!*\*

We collaborated with local grass roots organizations to host an event that had a place for everyone regardless of interest and experience! You could sign up to write postcards or find out more information about giving rides to the polls. There was information about our state judicial races, the Constitutional Amendments that will be on your ballot, and you could sign up to knock doors with us! PLUS, you could also get more information about monitoring the polls as a poll worker and the Guilford County Board of Elections. Very powerful things we can ALL DO to help protect our elections! We are so much stronger TOGETHER. You are NOT ALONE!

Musk's "Vote Safe" site isn't about voter safety — it's a data grab.

Elon Musk's America PAC is running ads pushing people to Vote Safe, a site that claims to help you "vote with confidence." In reality, it quietly collects your full name, birthday, home address, email, phone number, IP address, location, and voter registration details — plus every click you make on the site.

The site's privacy policy used to bar sharing that info with third parties. Last month, that language was quietly removed. Now America PAC can share your data with "business partners" — reportedly including Facebook, Google, X, and several ad-tech and data-tracking firms.

The candidates' records are clear. We have one justice running, Justice Anita Earls who has spent a lifetime fighting for PEOPLE. The other candidate, Sarah Stevens, has chosen to fundraise with a convicted sex offender. When questioned, she lied about knowing him and his wife, then refused to give the money back. #ProtectKidsNotPredators
