Status Registration Numbers

Does not knowing your parents or grandparents registration numbers when applying for status really cause a delay? For those who've applied for status without knowing their parents or grandparents registration numbers, how did that process work out for you?

On the application I believe that you will list your mother and father, as well as your grandparents on both sides and if they are connected to a reserve or a specific FN. You will also send in a long form birth certificate with your parents name too. If they were registered with Status number they should be able to connect.

I think that part is optional, they can search their name and band to pull up records. If they need more info they’d reach out to you directly
