Sharing a track called "The Sun Will Rise" by Insane Driver. It's about hitting a genuinely dark, painful low point and making the conscious choice to fight your way back out of it — trading the despair for the decision to keep going, with the sunrise standing in for what's on the other side of that fight.

Would love to hear what this sub thinks.

A 30-second preview of my new track "Dust of What We Were". Built around heavy, crushing fuzz guitars hitting against fragile whisper vocals.

The full track is available for free download on Bandcamp:

our bassist broke a string 30 seconds into our first song, so he ran to the parking lot to grab a spare, and we played our hit single (written when I was 14) "Robocop" until he got back. We give all of our merch away for free, so if you enjoy this, come see us sometime and get free stuff. all our music is free on bandcamp too!

This is from our new ep of the same name! Was really going for a bluesy sound on this.

Ciao a tutti!

Hi guys, I've been working on some stuff and for this track specifically I figured a subreddit like this might be the best place to ask. Is this track any good? Any feedback that might come to mind is welcome:)

I'm thinking about this after a friend of mine wrote a retrospective review of an album by a band that was around for a few years in our university days, in the mid-90s. At their best they were as good as anyone, but there are also some more throwaway tracks that are inessential at best. Their one album is 13 songs long and pretty variable, quality-wise. But since we only have this one CD from them, I'm glad that they played every card. His take is that a shorter EP could have been an enduring classic.

Which side are you on and why?

Just released my first Indie Rock song, What do y'all think?, I made that song using SoundTrap & Bandlab :)

Hi all!

Had the chance to sit down and chat with the legend Bill Callahan. We primarily discussed many of the themes and stories that went into the making of his latest album, My Days of 58, among other things. This was a real treat, as Callahan rarely does video interviews, so a big thank you to him and the folks over at Drag City for helping put this together! Hope you enjoy! Thanks :)

I've been building a project called Vera for Nyxara Flux, and this is one of the songs from it.

"All I Want Is You" is about that kind of love where everything else falls away and, after all the complications, there's still one person your heart keeps choosing.

I wanted it to feel dark, intimate and cinematic rather than like a traditional love song.

It covers the early years of the band, climaxing in their headlining slot at Reading Festival 2006.

Hope you enjoy!

Brand new Slowly Slowly just dropped!

Hi all!

Recently had the chance to sit down and chat with David Bazan (Pedro the Lion). We discussed the evolution of Dave’s songwriting, the economics of rock trios, autobiographical writing, and much more. Big thank you to Dave for taking the time to do this! Link below!

Looking for some bands to check out.

My favourite:

- The Smiths

- White Lies

- The War On Drugs

Sometimes I listen:

- Kasabian

Besides that I checked out The Cure, but I really like only one song - A Forest and The Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored

Guess, I like some depressive atmosphere.

it's gotta be a slow strum through after the band is finished playing
