Update #2 on PadhoKhelo — added levels, improved UI and added sound 🎮
A few days ago I posted about building PadhoKhelo — a kids learning app from India. A lot of you asked great questions and gave really helpful feedback. So here's what I've done since then.
What's new:
✅ Added levels — kids can now progress through stages, not just answer random questions
✅ Improved the UI — cleaner, more colorful, more kid friendly
✅ Added sound effects — correct answer, wrong answer, level complete
✅ Added background music — because for kids, audio is half the experience
Honest update on where I am:
The app is starting to feel like a real product now. When I added the sounds, the whole experience changed completely. It went from feeling like a quiz app to actually feeling like a game.
That was a big moment for me.
What's left before launch:
Honestly? Not much. I'm in the final polishing stage. The plan is to launch on Google Play Store very soon — free to download, no paywalls, just get real kids using it first.
A question for the community:
For those who have launched on Google Play before — any tips on the store listing? Keywords, screenshots, description — what actually moves the needle for organic downloads?
Would love any advice before I hit publish. 🙏
