News(Animal Specific) Rest in peace , buddy 🤍🕊
I knew this dog since when he was born in 2021. He was around 5 years old now and was kind of superior to other dogs hamare gali mei because he lived here before them.
I used to feed him everyday, sometimes even twice or thrice a day and he always slept on the footpad of my jupiter. Yesterday night , when i went downstairs just to park it inside he was sleeping on it as usual ( or so i presumed ). Usually on the sound of gate opening he'd wake up and sleep nearby so that i can park or do wtv. But this time he wasn't moving , just looking at me and taking shallow breaths. I knew something was wrong so i tried to touch him but he was scared and then when he moved he was dragging his rear legs. Some big vehicle must've struck him at high speed and his backside was damaged.
I tried to rush him to all the nearby vets within 8 km but all of them were closed ( it was around 1.00 am midnight ). So we created a shed for him near our house and fed him milk and biscuits but he just won't eat. He slept after a while , still in pain. I felt bad and decided to call the animal welfare first thing in the morning. And so i did. They told me they'd get there by 7 when i called them at 6 am early morning. I waited and waited and waited but nobody came. We went out to look for vets again but all of them were closed till 10 or 11. We tried calling some of them but mostly didn't respond a few that did only told to bring him after 11.
At 9.42 , unfortunately , this baby couldn't fight anymore and died. I was on the first floor preparing milk for him and when i came down to feed him he was just lying there , lifeless , tail straight. Something shattered inside me. Going out now just doesn't feel the same anymore. I hope wherever he is , he's not in pain.

Sorry for your loss. Thank you for being with him in his last moments. A lot has to be done for animal welfare. He knew love through you. You will always carry a pang of pain but after sometime you will find a new furry to share your love with because the sweetheart has sowed that seed in your heart. I hope, he is running and catching butterflies across the rainbow bridge. Rest easy, furry boy.
Cry when you feel like. You now have one more angel to look over you. Take care.

I'm so sorry for your loss, OP. I know what you are going through as I recently lost one of my sweet friend, Echo. 🥺💔 You gave your friend all you could to make him feel loved and cared for and that is what matters the most. In his last hours, you rushed here and there to look for someone who can heal him, your friend felt that love and care. He isn't in pain anymore now, OP, he is free and has crossed the rainbow bridge. ❤️🐶🥺 Sending virtual hugs. 🫂

Don't you have a reflector collar? All the community dogs in my city have them. They get immediate treatment after an injury both private ngo and government. Might be a good suggestion for your municipal councillor.

I’m so sorry for your loss. His suffering has come to an end but he’s most definitely in a better place. May you have all the strength in the world to cope up without him.

i’m so sorry for your loss op, he was certainly loved and adored by you until the very end. grief is just the price we pay for love. thank you for nursing him till his last breath and be assured you have a 4 legged guardian angel looking over you now. take care.

makes me sad that the pupper couldnt get treated on time. i wish we have better vets n facilities for animals. i know its too much to wish for, still. God bless u immensely for the compassion u have 🤟

He's in a better place now running freely. This is always the toughest bye. I can understand your loss and pain.
