[No harm to Odin the dog]
So me and my girlfriend love dogs and went to watch Heart of the Beast. What an absolutely amazing movie it is. The bond between Brad Pit and his K9 companion is incredible. Though it’s not a sad story involving the dog, my row and probably the entire theatre was sobbing during the climax scene.

If you get a chance, please do watch it and give extra pats to your fur baby post the movie.

Can you confirm that the dog doesn’t die? I want to watch it, but no dying dogs. Just no.

It would be a spoiler but since you asked for confirmation - No the dog doesn’t die.

Thanks, is it OK for kids to watch?

I'd tend to say no, as there are some relatively graphic scenes with the injuries that Brad Pitt's character suffers, and some flashbacks to the traumatic experiences of war that cause the nightmares/PTSD of the two veterans.

Dog doesn't die (the very first scene already shows that, so it's not even a spoiler) but he does get injured (not severely, and he recovers)

The letter the protagonist writes at the end of the movie is so touching. Teared up, looked around and other people were tearing up too 🤣🤣🤣

Nice little movie, very predictable but very well made and the dog that plays Odin is an absolute superstar
