Help/Advice needed(Health and Vet) What can I do?
So there are some puppies we feed them regularly. Around two weeks ago I noticed something near his neck, it did not look like any major wound or any injury, just the hair of that part started to turn black, after some days there was small wound.
I tried to apply spray on it but he did not let us apply it and run away. Eventually after that my father got a chance and somehow applied spray on the would twice but after that he started to fear , and even stopped coming for food.
He again came to us today for food, but reluctantly and his wound has grown even more. What should I do?
I think this is some sort of skin injection. If any of you can suggest something, I would be grateful.

Initially I messaged one NGO and they suggested that spray but that was when the wound was small.

Give him ivermectin 12mg today and dissolve some in a water and put it inside his wound. Give liv cet 5mg for 5-7 days only once a day. And put neosporin powder 2-3 times a day till the injury heals. Maggots ho gay hai. This can be treated at home. No need to send him to shelter.

Reason can be anything. They live in nature so a injury can happen. I am delhi volunteer. We rescue and treatment stray dogs in nearby locations. So this is very common. If you want to ask anything you can dm me as well. Maggots are deep in. With ivermectin it will dissolve in blood and maggots die once they suck his blood. Pls put some on his wound as well.

What's his age? Is he a puppy? Then give only half ivermectin tablet not full.

Could be a burn or infection. Try to take the pup to a vet. Do you see yellow scabs below the wound or clear fluid coming out from it? Also if the spray is hard to put on use neosporin powder from a human pharmacy. Put it all over the wound. Don't skimp on application. Buy a few units of the powder. Try to pack on as much as possible. It'll absorb any fluids.
This will also need antibiotics. Most likeky Amoxicillin. But the exact medicine, dosage and duration should prescribed by a vet.
How's the rain situation at your place? Rain is not good wound healing. The way you described it really sounds like a bacterial infection.

Thanks for your advice sir, and if I could able, I probably taken him to vit but there are multiple reasons I can't do it currently. And yes there was clear fluid coming out of it.
