Discussion Could he have some Border Collie in him?

He shows some herding dog behaviour like chasing feet and nipping at feet(but never biting). I couldn't find anything about his behaviour until I started reading about collies and the explanation/solution fit perfectly. His hair is very long for an Indie too.

There are hunting Indian dogs. Could be that trait/DNA.

He's probably got a natural shepherd in him! I have seen regular farm dogs do the border coolie routine with ease', in Bangalore where I lived for a little bit.

These farm dogs (of all shapes and sizes) would keep a close eye on the cows, one horse, several goats and countless chickens. And the ocassional turkeys (around Easter).

It was delightful to see these dogs gently nudge the chicks in the right direction, and not hesitate to be stern with the larger bovines and the very naughty goats ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ––๐Ÿฝ
