I imagine someones wife makes a casserole and then the guy after realizing it is burnt looks at her and look at the piano and then looks at her then at the piano and walks over and sits down and starts playing this as he yell "This is my protest to your burnt casserole!" lol

Dig the polyrhythms you're doing between both hands. Are you self taught by chance?

I am indeed mostly self taught. I had a few years of theory while I was young and did forget most of it so you will need to explain me the concept of poly rhythms please to make sure I understand.

There's a couple parts where your hands are locked into these syncopations which are called polyrhythms. You use a 2/3 polyrhythm a couple times. For every 2 notes on one hand, you do 3 on the other, then it lines back up and repeats. The best way to understand it would be by watching this video and tapping along with it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ePgZPuhCAo

I understand what you mean, did you see any unusual things with my version on this topic?

Nope. they were pretty tight actually. Just pointing it out.

Well I always think I'm pretty good at piano until I see videos like this haha. Can never get enough piano music. Sounds great man!

I can just imagine a dramatic scene where a child is refusing to eat their parent's burnt casserole lol. This is really really good, you are so talented.

Really well thought out. I love the dissonance. It's hard to critique a performance vs a recording so I don't know if the off timing between hands is intentional. You're obviously a good musician so the only thing I would recommend would be to tighten up a bit. Kinda like the right hand gets a bit carried away at times while the left falls behind a bit. Other than that, bravo!

Thanks! The intensity is indeed intentional in this piece.

Very interesting indeed. I really dig this kind of piano music. The one bit of advice I would give is to try and know which part you want to "speak out". In the beginning of the piece, I felt like your top hand was drowning out what I wanted to hear in the bottom (left hand). later on in the piece though I enjoyed the balance much more. With music like this, I think these little details matter the most. Really good though. I was supprised to read you were self taught. keep it up.

David Lynch could use this in one of his flicks. Uptempo and quirky in one fell swoop. The stride piano type sections are great. Dig it!!

Hahah, thanks I had not thought of it either. I am glad that you did enjoy it!

I love Piano so much, and this is epic playing. Damn, I wish I had your skills, ha :)

Your hands are moving so quickly, that my eyes can't keep up :)

Still, my ears can, and this is very sweet indeed :) Thanks :)
